“This fabric is great quality (looks amazing on the chair I am upholstering) and I can't fault the customer service. Unfortunately one slight problem arose which is that the pattern is printed upside down on the fabric as the nap is going in the wrong direction, which means it will wear a lot quicker. As I needed it for an exam piece I did not have time to return it but will probably loose marks for not immediately noticing this error.”

Hi Gail, Thank you for your order. The direction of printing on this design is something we have brought up with the manufacturer. When they have printed the design the other way the nap prevents the ink fully covering the fabric which is why they made the decision to print against the pile rather than with the pile. The fabric does have a martindale rub test of 70,000 so is extremely hard wearing and you should not have any problems in terms of wear on the piece you are upholstering.
