I was told these mugs were large...however when they came they are smaller than my everyday mugs. Nice mugs but very thin china and expensive.

Kids plastic drinks bottles x3 all broke on the first time of my kids accidentally dropping them with no real force on a soft padded kitchen lino floor! 2x bottles cracked 1x bottle dented rendering it unable to stand upright! Merchandise aimed at kids totally unsuitable for kids!!! Bottles didn't even make it to the 1st day back at school...crying disappointed kids!! Also the rainbow face mask purchased was a ridiculous shape that did not fit my face (a face which is of normal proportions!) thanks now approx 20 pounds out of pocket thanks to purchasing these useless items!

We were ordering a set of 4 mugs arrived today., we have received an odd mug. Sadly the order states it was this mug we ordered. We are looking to have to pay nearly £10 In postage, On top of the cost of the mug! Just to get the missing one, because of computer error. Sadly the company will not treat his an exchange, very poor service for a genuine accident.

The goods get 5 stars. Very disappointed with temptation gifts because just a day or two after I made the order, the Orla Kiely tumblers had been reduced in the sale and I was not refunded the difference.

Hello, thank you for your review. Sadly we are unable to refund you for the difference in price that you paid when you placed your order and the later discounted price. As you will be aware websites are open for business 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, which means sadly there is no ‘good’ time to start a promotion as it will be likely that somebody will have ordered just moments before you start the promotion. In common with almost all companies, both retail stores and e-commerce websites we do not generally announce promotions ahead of launching them and very occasionally we start promotions with little or no planning as we will be reacting to a market trend or sudden change in trading conditions. They post everything second class unless you spend out more than your order on postage - that is no a COVID issue, that is their issue. They save pennies and make their customer wait over a week for delivery of birthday cards - hardly would have cost anything for them to send first class. Poor show, cheap company at the detriment of customers

I can see that your order placed at 22.41 on 7th was dispatched the next day . Our shipping information advises that standard delivery is sent with Royal Mail 48 service, in the current situation, expected to arrive in 2-7 working days. Further to our email to you on 17th, I can see that this was dispatched on the 1st April by standard airmail delivery which would usually arrive within 7-14 working days. We are however aware of delays within the postal system due to Covid-19, especially where internationally deliveries are concerned so could I please ask you to allow a little longer for your order to arrive. I have not received my order, yet I received this email before getting an email regarding where my package is with a tracking number. This is backwards to me. Lack of communication on this companies end is frustrating. I understand my order said 1-2 weeks, but that’s all I’ve received when I initially placed my order. Wondering if I’m still getting my order??

Hello, Thank you for your feedback.I can advise that your order was dispatched on 26th March, using Royal Mail Airmail in association with their international partners, this is a very reliable service and parcels are expected to arrive in 7-14 working days. We are unfortunately unable to provide individual tracking numbers for this service, however as today is working day 7 since the order left our warehouse, please rest assured that your order is on the way to you. Please be aware that due to Covid19, some international airmail orders may take longer to deliver due to possible restrictions on flights and internal processing in your country. We still expect the vast majority of parcels to most destinations to be delivered in normal time frames but for some, delivery may take longer than listed. I saw an item I wished to purchase at a 20% discounted price online. As I was in Amersham I found said item in the shop but was expected to pay the full price! I asked if I could purchase the item as priced online but was told the offer was only extended to online transactions. Needless to say i left the shop very annoyed and won’t be visiting again. Bought the item from another online retailer. Lousy service

Thank you for your email regarding our pricing policy , my name is Rebecca Wilson and I am the customer service coordinator at Temptation Gifts. I am sorry you feel disappointed by our service and offers on this occasion. In common with almost all companies that have both retail stores and e-commerce websites, from time to time we have offers, discounts and incentives which are exclusive either just to our websites or just to our retail stores. These reflect the different costs of doing business online and on the High Street, the different competition we face online and in the High Street, and the different clientele we have online and on the high street. They also reflect the fact that in general, buying online also incurs a carriage charge. In addition, our high street stores and national websites carry different ranges of stock, although there is a good deal of overlap. In total, we carry nearly 10,000 more items online across our two websites than we can fit into our stores, so inevitably we have to run these different arms of our business differently. However, I absolutely and categorically reject your assertion that we in any way imply on our websites that all our prices online and in-store are the same or that the items on our website are available in our high street stores, we know they are not, so we would never say or imply that they are. We have separate warehouses for our retail operation and our websites, and we buy and allocate stock accordingly. Our two websites share the same warehouse and our shops are allotted different stock to our website. With the ever growing pressures , space restrictions and increasing business rates for high street properties, we are unfortunately unable to offer the same discounts as we can from our website warehouse, we offer the option of shopping on-line so that our customers can take advantage of the lower prices and discounts not available in stores. This is standard with most other companies that have retail outlets and websites too. I hope that the above will go some way to explain why sometimes there will be a differences between store prices and web prices, and store availability and web availability. It can of course also work the other way too, sometimes we run promotions in store not available on-line. I’m sorry in this instance that you were disappointed with our service. It is not easy running a retail business, despite our 34 years’ experience. What we have never done though is been anything less than 100% honest with our customers.
