I really like the Dunoon mugs. Unfortunately the handling of my order did'nt work well. I ordered the mugs in Oktober but I recieved my order at the end of December. The order should be freight free, but I had to pay for the delivery since you dont have control of the deliveries. This means that I will not shop any more from Temptation Gifts.

Hello Sandra, Thank you for your review. Looking into your order, I can see that your order was dispatched 21st October 2019 and was then returned back to us on November 26th after an attempted delivery and then being held at the delivery office awaiting collection. As the parcel was not collected by you, the parcel was returned to sender. As per our correspondence on November 26th, as the parcel was not claimed, we sadly could not send the parcel out to you without an additional payment. As you chose to have the parcel resent rather than refunded and agreed to pay the shipping again, your parcel was then re-dispatched on 3rd December. The order wasn’t correct, the wax melt was substituted with a votive candle. I don’t use votive candles , I didn’t return it as the time delay and cost was disproportionate, I also find the delivery time is quite longer than expected I think I’ll source my items elsewhere

I ordered an item 2 weeks before Christmas as a present but here we are on Dec 27th and no delivery. I have had to source elsewhere, and no email from customer service.

I do all my shopping online from a range of retailers. I've never experienced such an unreliable service. Two weeks later it still hasn't arrived. When I called for an update they've literally had to resend my order and it still hasn't arrived! Never shopping here again!

Hello Rumina, Thank you for your review. As per our calls this week, we are very sorry that your first order did not arrive with you. This was dispatched on the 4th December with your chosen standard delivery. Once a parcel has left us, it is down to the courier to get the parcel to you. We are therefore sorry that your original order got lost in Royal Mail's postal system on this occasion. Really disappointed as one mug was broken and I will not get a new sent due to shipping costs to Sweden. That It was planned for a christmas gift didn't really make it better .....

As per our email to you, we are very sorry but due to the high cost of international shipping, we have a strict policy of giving refunds in cases such as these, rather than resending the stock. We are always keen to make amends to our customers where possible but regrettably resending orders internationally simply is not a viable option for us. Having had problems with an Emma Bridgewater coffee pot bought from Temptation Gifts last year, I was unsure whether to buy from them again. I placed an order in time for my wife's birthday, again for Emma Bridgwater items. A tin I ordered is scratched and they've had to send me THREE vases as every one is faulty, cracked, pin pricks in the glazing and/or wonky writing. They are polite enough and efficient at sending out replacements but (having bought a lot of Emma Bridgwater items elsewhere), can only assume they are seconds.

As per our email to you, use the pre-paid returns label that was posted to you with vase to return the three vases back to us, along with the damaged tin, and on receipt we will of course refund you for the items. My order was packed incorrectly. I did not receive the item I ordered but another. The response was “sometimes that happens” and they r unable to correct and fill the order properly because the international shipping charges are too great. I was instructed to enjoy the wrong item on them and I would be credited for the one I ordered. Very disappointing indeed.

Sad to have to say I’m not happy with provision of my order. Received an order addressed to me but which was actually for someone else. I told Temptation Gifts and they emailed me a return paid ticket and I duly took it to the Post Office. Instead of chasing up my parcel, which presumably went to the person who ordered the stuff I received, they left it. It’s now 10 days later and after chasing today they are now sending it by Premium delivery. Can’t understand why a new parcel wasn’t sent at once when they knew I had the wrong one. Not fair to make me wait whilst they waited for the other person to return it.

My 3yr old got over excited watching the display and banged on the window. A member of staff who thought we wouldn’t hear said she really hoped the window would break. I assume that she meant that would teach him a lesson. I’ll shop elsewhere and I suggest you all do too.
