Wrong card sent. When I telephoned to complain, one of the cards I had ordered was out of stock. Said they would send the card by first class post but it didn't arrive for 3 more days. Thankfully the occasion is not until next month.

I really struggled to set a rating for this retailer so have gone for an average. I only order one particular brand from them. My very first order, less than a couple of months ago, included a wrong item, and I have had another wrong item since. Also some hitches with stock availability and duplicate/inaccurate order acknowledgments. As it happens because I'm ordering jewellery, I haven't had to pay postage which means that their returns policy (not particularly encouraging and at own expense) is fair enough. If I'd paid at both ends I'd be less happy. On the plus side, the deliveries do arrive safely packed and the Customer Services people are extremely pleasant, prompt and helpful, both on the 'phone and by email - it would just have been nice to have to use them so often!

The order was received in good time but unfortunately two wrong items were sent. This was dealt with efficiently by email with a very fast response but you have to print off the free returns label which can be a bit of a faff , then I had to reorder the correct items

Ordered on 3 Feb standard delivery, received email stating despatched 8 Feb for valentines but did not arrive in time. However, product and packaging excellent. Would have scored higher if arrived in time.

Service from Temptation was good, delivery on time. My only quibble is the quality of merchandise. Sophie Allport storage containers are of a satisfactory quality only, not really what I would have expected from a premium priced product.

While I love the items I've bought, my last two parcels have been badly packed and had items missing from them which I have had to chase up. The boxes were barely held together so there's definitely a re-think needed in the packing department. Apart from that, great purchases.

Customer Service was very polite and reacted quick. They did try to make amends. However they sent a wrong order. And instead correcting their mistake, they just reimbursed the item, let me keep the other one, which is meaningless to me, without charge (less than half the price of the other one) due to shipping costs. Now I'm stuck with having to order the original item for almost additional 10€ + shipping somewhere else. So in fact I am pretty disappointed as I did pay the high shipping fees in the first place. If they make the mistake they should correct it despite shipping fees.

Took a long time to arrive. It was well packaged when it arrived. I was a bit dissapointed in the gift, it looked cheap and plastic. The printed message was ok.

I found it difficult on the Dunoon web site finding out who I should actually purchase the mug from. Their website isn't clear. I had expected to buy the mug direct from them. Also I had to go through many pages before I found a gardening related mug. Once found the next stage was easier. The mug was posted promptly and very well wrapped. It is part of my husband's birthday present - due to be opened 18 February.

We expect standard international orders to take between 10-14 working days to arrive, and so due to the recent holidays the overall time for parcels to be delivered may be slightly longer overall. I didn't receive my goods before Christmas, mainly my fault for not paying the extra money for special delivery. Disappointing as other email retailers who didn't receive my orders untill Sunday 20th December managed to get their goods delivered to me before Christmas without using any special delivery service.

Click and collect was just as you would hope for but the price of goods was very high, my purchase price was £26 the same item at John Lewis was£18 so can we afford to support our local retailers!!!!!!!

The product was excellent once it arrived! I have no issues with Temptation as a seller, however I think your delivery company let you down, and it may put me off buying through you again. I have made a complaint to the delivery company (UK mail) but they have not responded or apologised and I think you need to know this. I had placed my order after 4pm on Monday 7th Dec and requested next day delivery. I understood that this meant it would arrive on Wednesday. This was ideal as the product as a gift that I needed by Thursday. I received a text on the Wednesday to say the product was being delivered that day. I was out but had attempted to contact the seller to leave parcel in a safe place. I got home that day and no parcel was to be seen! The next day I checked the online tracker which told me the parcel had infact been delivered and I had signed for it myself. I contacted UK Mail, they very promptly sent the delivery driver back to us and to explain what he had done with the parcel. He told us he had left it with our neighbour (a house on the same property as we live on a farm) who had signed for it and taken it inside. We asked if it was a man or woman who had taken it. He said 'It was a woman I think'. SO problem one; the tracking system claimed I had signed for it myself (my name). My neighbour would not have signed for it in my name so the record was false. Secondly our neighbour was not in that day. AS I had already text her to check, nor was her husband. So the driver had lied. Still no parcel to be seen. So I contacted UK Mail again who said they would contact the depot and look into it. That was on Thursday 10th Dec. To this day I have not heard from them. They have not attempted to contact me. My neighbours found the parcel had blown into their garden on Saturday 12th Dec and we managed to collect it from them on Sunday. Therefore it is evident the driver had simply left it on their property, not in safe place, in the middle of the storm winds. Then when he returned he lied to us about what he had actually done with the parcel. The item was a wedding gift and I was not able to take this to the event itself which was disappointing. I do not in any way blame Temptation for this. However I think you should know this is happening as it would make me reluctant to use the service again.

We normally expect standard delivery to take up to 5 working days, but at Christmas-time it can sometimes take a little longer. From our records it looks as though we dispatched your order the day after you placed it, and so unfortunately it seems your parcel was held up in Royal Mail's system.
