Customer service was great, glassware was lovely however the Yankee tarts I ordered were all old crumbling and the packaging was poor, very disappointed if I’d of seen these in a store in this condition I would never of bought them.

Disappointed that the yankee candle wax burner didn't come boxed. Just wrapped in bubble wrap, as this is a xmas gift I'm disappointed. Not a good experience for my 1st order which unfortunately will most probably be my last!

The gift box was scribbled on and the corners were bashed. Looked awful (looked second hand) as they were a present. I emailed TemptationsGifts and was promised a response the next day. That was over a week ago and I’ve still not had a response. Disappointed.

I placed an order with Temptation Gifts for 3 Dunoon mugs, one of which was broken in transit to Australia. The total order value was 80.98 pounds, 29.99 of which was shipping. I emailed Temptation Gifts asking for a replacement mug and one week later, I've still not received a reply (other than the auto reply stating that they would reply within 24 hours). Long days in the northern hemisphere, I guess! Not happy, folk!

received the gift in opened box with fragile tape around it. gift itself was packaged nicely but the chocolates provided were not very nice despite paying £4.99 for it . overall i dont think it was worth £28 for that

The candles arrived in okay condition not broken but can tell candles been left in light as gone oily and bubblegum on top ... not good if your a collector of them

Hello Megan, thank you for your feedback, I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the candles.These are all new stock and all our Yankee candles are kept in a temperature controlled warehouse . We have been advised by Yankee Candle that there can be slight variations in the finish of each individual candle. As they are all hand poured and made with natural oils, sometimes air bubbles occur when the hot wax is poured in to the glass jars, causing uneven adherence to the sides of the jar. Any variations in colour through the candles is due to changes in the temperature and distribution of oils through the wax, however once lit, the bubbles and any oil deposits and colour variations dissipate , therefore please be assured that this will not affect the fragrance throw or the burn of the candles in any way. I received my order but it contained the wrong items. I ordered four Braver Than You Believe porcelain hanging hearts. I received four heart shaped coasters with no string to hang. I would like to exchange them but have not received an answer to my email.

The candle arrived slightly damaged and looked like it may have been dropped as the wood lid was dented and the wax was marked with an indent. This was not a big issue as the candle was for me and the lid is not displayed when the candle is burning and the the wax melts obviously. However, has this had been ordered as a gift for someone I would not have wanted to give it to them like this.

One of the mugs completely smashed,wrapping was scarce. TG would not send another one due to high cost for international shipping. I got my money back asap but was short of one christmas present,very disappointing !

Hello Patricia, thank you for your feedback, our apologies once again that one of the mugs arrived broken and we were unable to send a replacement to you.Due to the high cost of international shipping, we have a strict policy of giving refunds in cases such as these, rather than resending the stock. We are always keen to make amends to our customers where possible but regrettably resending orders internationally simply is not a viable option for us. we have refunded you for the mug and also part of the shipping charge too, as regrettably you only received 4 mugs safely on this occasion. The pin on the back of one of the earrings was bent. I gave this to my daughter in law for Christmas and told her we should send them back for replacement but as I have jewellery tools she asked me if I could try to straighten them. I did and she has them back again but I still think they should be returned for replacement. I will let you know her decision.

1. I had some issues when i was paying my order. I sent an e-mail asking for someone to confirm my payment, because the site stopped working. I solved my problem alone by using another browser, sent another e-mail giving the update. I got no answer at all, so i have no idea if this site gives any customer assistance. 2. A corner of one of my purchases arrived dented. 3. One of the things i bought was a marble game and i was extremely disappointed when i saw that these marbles are Made in China, you can see the low quality. Nothing like marbles made by a glazier. I would pay 4 times more, for marbles made traditionally. I will have to make another purchase, so i can offer a decent marble set.

If all the mugs had arrieved unbroken the rating had been Very Good. From my view everything from ordering the gifts until the delivery seemed to work according to plan. When opening the first of the two boxes the mugs included were in perfect shape. However, the mugs in the second box were totally destroyed. (And yet the box itself had no damage.) I did send a photo of these mugs to customerservice@temptationgifts.com and will be compensated.

A great pity that items ordered online cannot be returned to the shop. Need to join the rest of the retail trade and stop being so arrogant regarding your procedures. Not cheap to return items which makes ordering a lottery.

I was very disappointed at my purchase at Temptation gifts. Despite putting in multiples of each item ( to take advantage of an offer 4 for £6) , I emailed customer service to ask why , but no actual answer as to why only a single item of each candle type instead of 4. I'm assuming it's so Temptation Gifts can charge full price instead of offer advertised.

Good afternoon, Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you feel disappointed. As you ordered nine votives, your total came to £12.54. As some of the candles you purchased were in the clearance, these unfortunately were not included in the discount as they were already at a greater reduced priced than the discount offered; as they were only £1 on their own, this meant buying four would total only £4, thus they were not included in the offer. However, as the offer was mix and match, the 4 for £6 discount was applied to the rest of the votives even though they were not the same scent as each other. I understand that you wanted four of each candle, rather than just one of each.
