My parcel didn't arrive at the desired location as it had the wrong postcode. I received an email from Royal Mail saying the parcel was back at their depot and could I correct the address which I did. Then I received an email from Temptation saying about the wrong postcode and I would be refunded if they didn't hear from me for the next 5 days. Have I been refunded? Or has Royal Mail posted the parcel again, this time with the right address? I have no idea.

Good morning, thank you for your review. Checking your order I can see that the incorrect postcode was provided on your shipping information. As your parcel was un-deliverable due to this, it has since been returned to us by Royal Mail. We have made contact with yourself, via email, on 21st July as to whether you would like your order re-sending or not, and are yet to hear back from you. Placed an order end of March gift wrapped it was lovely really satisfied. Placed same sized candles end of may I wrapped 1 not after explaining they were for a present and I wanted same as previous order invoice says one wrapped one not. First order dealt by a lady second a gent . Say no more. From 87 year old man.

Thank you for your review, I am sorry to see that the candles you ordered weren’t gift-wrapped together as expected. With our gift wrap service we are more than happy to gift-wrap several items into one “present”. However, our system does not allow an option for this, due to the difficulties in applying such an option, so we do need to be notified if multiple items are required to gift-wrapped together once the order has been placed. One previous occasions this may have been the case, on this order however no note or contact was made so we were unaware that these items were needed to be gift-wrapped together. We kindly ask that on future orders, if multiple items are required to be gift-wrapped together, that you leave a note on the order or get in contact with our customer services team to ensure that your requirements are met and your order is shipped to your requests. A mug came with a impact crack due to the design of the crack. They would not send us a new mug. We ordered 6 because we needed a set and now we are stuck with 4. They said the crack was due to putting boiling water into the mug, which we did not do.

We are very sorry that when you used the mugs,two cracked and leaked, as advised, from your description, it seems like this would almost certainly be due to “Thermal Shock” (splitting through rapid expansion). Dunoon recommend "Avoid pouring boiling water directly into fine cups and mugs. Always put the milk in first, or if you do not take milk, pour the water over the back of a teaspoon". Hi Mary, thank you for your review. Our Yankee Illuma-Lids are designed to be the perfect size for medium and large candles and are supposed to perfectly balance on top of the candle when placed on top of the candle carefully. They are designed to sit on top so that they are easily removable after use. Please note, these do not fit the "Home Inspiration" jars, however they do fit every medium and large jar sold on our website. Kind regards, Customer Service Team

Ordered this mug Highland retreat Phonebox received wrong one, decided to keep it..Ordered original again. Wrong one sent again, what a hassle. So my daughter has 2 mugs the same. [Xmas present] disappointment! Was asked to send the other wrong one back with a prepaid label which I could not print because my printer is out of ink... Explanation given mix up on order nos.. Not on my part!!

Hello, thank you for your review, i am terribly sorry that we sent 2 incorrect mugs to you, unfortunately this was a human picking error, regrettably from time to time we make a mistake and pick the wrong item, for this we apologise, we do not take this lightly and we are always working to improve our processes to try and stop these kind of errors. Annoyed about getting charged an extra pound for a thin cardboard box which wasn't even used to protect the mug! This is the manufacturer's box normally provided free when purchased from other providers.

Hello Tom, Thank you for your review. I can confirm that the medium Dunoon box is not a protective box but is instead is a giftbox. These are individual items that Dunoon sell - we purchase these giftboxes from Dunoon which we then sell on for a small charge. Nice gifts, terrible packaging. There's no excuse (knowing what we now know about plastic pollution) for filling a large box with inflatable plastic packaging that is not straightforward to recycle, then claim that they have a "recycling policy". When I complained, Temptation gifts customer service advised me to go to my local supermarket and recycle it there ! Most people won't bother with this, me included, it'll just end up in landfill.

Hello Andy, Thank you for your review. As per our email to you a couple of weeks ago, Here at Temptation Gifts we take the environment seriously. As a company we are aware that we have a responsibility to do all we can to minimise our impact on the environment, and we are proud of our commitment to improve our “green” credentials and to work on solutions to reduce our carbon footprint. As per our Environmental Policy, the things we are now doing are: - For the vast majority of our orders we use 100% recyclable cardboard boxes - The gummed paper tape we use on our boxes is also fully recyclable - The tissue paper we use is 100% recycled acid free paper made from virgin wood pulp from sustainable sources - When we do need to use plastic packaging (for smaller, or softer gifts that do not require cardboard boxes), wherever possible we ensure it is fully recyclable and reusable - We have completely stopped using jiffy bags as they are not recyclable Please see the link below for more information: https://www.temptationgifts.com/environmental-policy Hopefully this puts your mind at ease when receiving future orders! Pot of dreams looked cheap and personalisation was poor very disappointed had to buy something else. Writing was very small not like picture.

When we ordered from Europe the order form accepted an incomplete address. So the delivery could not be accomplished and the parcel was returned to England. Sending the goods a second time would have cost us the shipping cost again. Cancelling the order we eventually had to pay the shipping fees. We are quite disappointed. Programming the order form in a way that it would not accept missing lines could have avoided this problem.

We ship the orders in good faith as we believe that the information provided has been verified and is correct. When placing the order, our website prompts customers to check the address whilst entering it at the checkout and again just prior to entering your card details and paying and then again when we email you the confirmation of your order. Box of Emma Bridgewater items was wholly inadequate. Should have been a stronger stiffer box and packed with more packing which would have prevented breakages. Quality of items was not up to standard I would expect however staff at Temptations were quick to deal with my issues, and refund once items returned.

When the parcel arrived the box was damaged and so were the contents inside. I required the snowman for an advent present but as it was broken I was unable to give it. I was given a refund but this is not the first time I have received damaged items from Temptation Gifts. I will not be using them again.

I did not recv'd the coffee cups in timely matter. Box found now ( It was thrown over a 6ft fence in the pouring rain and not seen since it was thrown over the backyard fence. There I found one of the cups was shattered-The Dunoon Herbal Glencoe shape Mug !) Until this issue is corrected there will not be positive review and not use the carrier previously enraged. The other 2 mugs were fine but the wrapping left little to be desired Sincerely, Ilona Moore.

Wrong item sent ,did not match advert , invoice or delivery note ,it was a last minute present so we had no choice but to use it for our gift but unhappy as the dandelion was the item ordered .Our first experience of temptation gifts and sadly not one that we enjoyed .Due to the timing we had no choice to return and request refund ,seemed a "picking " error but on 1 item a very poor result .
