“The TEFL.Org was a very approachable and useful experience, I learnt a great deal about grammer and methodology that I had never before experienced. I also learned much more about teaching and education than I had previously experienced, giving me a greater appreciation for the role of educators in our society. However I do feel some of the grammer and methodology quizzes where a little too easy, and did not properly prepare me for tackling the assessments as seriously as I should have.”

“Overall a very pleasant experience, the courses were thorough, the lessons were organized very well and the explanations were simple to understand. I would recommend better audio and video quality though.”

“I enjoyed the course. Some of the videos seemed too long to me. This was especially true when they showed teachers working with their students. There's no need to observe a group of students working in pairs or groups. A brief view would suffice for understanding the point, not several minutes. It would be helpful to have the option to speed up or slow down the video depending on how important the material is to me.”

“Everything about the course was lovely! I enjoyed almost all of it except a mechanism that was in all the quizzes. If you got a question incorrect, it would tell you, and you can click the "feedback" button. Unfortunately, there was never any feedback, it was just words that reiterated how you got the question wrong, never explaining why or how. When I reached out to my tutor, they referred me to the support email for TEFL and didn't answer my question. The tutor is grading my work and providing feedback on the written assignments, which is great! I just wish I had a bit more explanation.”

“I’m absolutely chuffed with my course, particularly regarding the feedback I’ve received. This applies both to the assignments I cleared on the first attempt and those that required a bit of reworking. On a couple of occasions, I reached out to my tutor, Thomas, for some extra guidance; he was incredibly supportive and nothing short of brilliant.”

“The TEFL Org program, in particular the 120 hour is an integrative program, which adresses several key points to teach english to non-native speakers. The competences and the approach that display are up to date, and provides various tools to become a competitive English teacher. Although at the same time, due to the same reason, as it covers several topics, such as grammar, lesson planification, teaching young students, etc, they cannot be explored in depth. One topic that I found that is lacking is the assesment of student's level of English, which is a very important topic. Overall, I think the course is very complete, and useful program”

“I feel like I learned a lot through the TEFL Org course. I especially want to say how thankful I am for my tutor Angie. She was so responsive to me and got my assignments back to me so quickly. It really helped me continue on and complete the course. The only lacking in the program is that I don’t feel ready to interview with companies. I need to do a mock class and am not sure how to run the files.”

“Assignments were all marked in a timely fashion. Website is a little buggy, though. I also kept mistakenly changing page by pressing arrow keys when a video was in fullscreen, expecting to skip back or forward like on many video sites. Sometimes the completion state of assignments would bug out and show errors or incorrect states of completion like "Passed" before being submitted. Some of the site logic may be a little sensitive to how things load.”

“Overall, it was a good experience and well put course. I learned alot. However there were a few errors and a few letters missing in the content. I had even taken screenshots but I have misplaced it. Some of the distractors in the quiz were too smililar. However, the course as a whole was a beneficial”

“The course was clear and relatively thorough. But if a tutor can cover a lesson plan in more detail during a 4 hour virtual lesson than the course itself, then the course needs updating.”
