“I have enjoyed this course. The part I found particulary helpful was the in-person weekend in London. Our tutor was incredibly reassuring and encouraging and taught me a lot. I am looking forward to beginning teaching. Thank you”

“I thought that the processes were clear along with the online access. My tutor was very quick in answering any queries and marking work. My main area of concern was that some of the points raised by my tutor, e.g. in Asia, you would near a different (non-verbal) approach, were not evident in the materials as all of the video demonstrations were from Scotland.”

“The training itself is worthwhile and I’m glad to have done it, however, I think the program needs an update to be more in line with best practices in teaching and a better delivery system, such as canvas, some of the teaching demos are extraordinarily long and it can get a little boring. Farther, it would be nice to have models for the assignments.”

“Hello, Overall the course was a good introduction to teaching english as a foreign language. I do feel that some of the quizzes were confusing in how the questions were worded. And, I didn't feel quite prepared for the written assignments when they came up. But, my tutor was great in providing feedback for my written assignments. Even when I passed on the first time around, the suggestions provided were very helpful. So, for an introduction, the courses in the 120-hour setup was good.”

“I haven't had a chance to look through all of the website's capabilities yet, so my review is only about the course I took and passed. Overall, I'm happy with the course, but I think some of the more difficult topics might have been handled in more detail.”

“Insightful and manageable course, worth the money. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that the material becomes repetitive after a few lessons and there aren’t enough challenging benchmarks. However, with this being a TEFL introduction course, I learned a lot and appreciated my tutor.”

“I thought of giving four stars because I could imagine a better, more comprehensive course, and some of the material seems just a little out of date, but then I thought - probably not for the very reasonable price at which it is offered. I think that quite a few more videos of classroom teaching would have been beneficial, and some of the modules were a little sketchy. Given that the pricing is very reasonable, I think it is a very good course and the extra advice, youtube videos, podcasts and the jobs site are important additions and make it a thoroughly comprehensive experience. I also much appreciated having a tutor to rely on and his or her feedback was extremely valuable.”

“I really enjoyed the TEFL course. I thought the grammar section was particularly useful. I also thought the parts about how to format a lesson were useful too. The only criticism I have is that the students in the videos have a very good English already. When I tried some of these activities that were shown with my class (A0 refugees), they were far too complicated for them to understand. I will definitely try out these activities in the future when I have higher level learners. I would have a loved there to be a module specifically for teaching absolute English beginners.”

“I did TEFL as part of school and found it very helpful in learning how to teach english as a foreign language. I completed the 120 hour course which i was able to do without needing an extension, and i received educational feedback from my tutor, who was also very fast at marking my assignments.”

“TEFL Org offer a good and comprehensive 130 hr online certificate. I found the 30-hr weekday course particularly good. The instructor was very comfortable with the material and we moved through the various modules at a good pace but without compromising on detail. There were plenty of games and back-and-forth which kept it fresh and engaging. The other courses that are bundled into the 130 hr certificate ensure you have a thorough grounding in EFL instruction: grammar, teaching methadologies, and video observation of real-life lessons.”

“The 5 courses that I have completed were very well structured and meaningful. The lessons and classroom examples were really exciting to me. In particular I have enjoyed working on the quizzes - which while some seemingly very easy were actually crafted very well to embed itself in my mind. A couple of things that I wasn’t particularly pleased with were that assignments worked on were not automatically saved. I lost at least a couple of work especially when the programme hanged and I refreshed the system thus losing everything . Secondly once the screen is minimised it actually cuts out some parts of the whole layout. Without realising that I almost wasted this course by not realising that I hadn’t completed 4 out of my 5 courses till 2 weeks before expiry. Luckily I checked my courses and realised that in the nick of time. My two sens worth. Thank you nonetheless. I enjoyed the courses.”

“The course I took, TEFL for Young Learners, was very straightforward and easy to understand. The course gave me alot of valuable resources for teaching Young learners, and really contributed to my own methodology for teaching. The only downside is that your tutor may take the maximum time to mark assignments, so plan your studies accordingly. Don't bank on your tutor immediately marking your assignments, try and finish the course with a decent amount of time left. Otherwise, I would recommend this course to advanced TEFL teachers, who already have a baseline experience with TEFL. This course functions by building on and referencing common knowledge associated with a basic TEFL Course.”
