“Welldone, I mean at every chapter, lots of info/knowledge / tools is/are given and well presented, as for variety of texts, video and quizzes. (A good start for me as I wish to take the step to teach English -as a fulltime new career, worldwide and may take more advanced courses to position myself optimally). So I will explore TEFL further for guidance, knowledge and good advice. Thank you,”

“Good content. Webpages generally easy to use, with no errors in the material. Not one soul has EVER responded to an email. I emailed the tutor several times--no answer (what's the point of having a tutor if 2-ewsay communication can't be had?). I emailed the support email address--no reply. Significant issue: in the Methodology Course, 100% of the video demonstrations of TEFL teachers at work (showing a class in Scotland) showed a class in which the teachers were able to use normal English to the class.... However, the standard to which my tutor graded my work was based on the assumption that the students were at the lowest possible level of English comprehension. Assignments were rejected because of this ("...remember, your students cannot speak ANY English at all!...). But in all of your training slides, the students were already quite good with English. You need to fix this disconnect. Show some demonstration videos of a Teacher walking into a class in which the Students are at Level 0...completely unable to speak a word of English.”

“I really liked how short, quick and easy the assignments and quizzes were to get through. I liked the layout of the courses and the classroom examples used in each course. I didn't like how sometimes I would click onto a specific course for e.g. the Telephone teaching course and it would bring me into a different course like a glitch on the website.”

“I found the 120 hour online course a fabulous learning experience. I could not believe the value for money. It’s a really informative and rewarding experience. So glad that I undertook this learning experience. I enjoyed it so much that I have just booked to do the 20 hour weekend classroom course with TEFL Org.”

“I thought that the processes were clear along with the online access. My tutor was very quick in answering any queries and marking work. My main area of concern was that some of the points raised by my tutor, e.g. in Asia, you would near a different (non-verbal) approach, were not evident in the materials as all of the video demonstrations were from Scotland.”

“The training itself is worthwhile and I’m glad to have done it, however, I think the program needs an update to be more in line with best practices in teaching and a better delivery system, such as canvas, some of the teaching demos are extraordinarily long and it can get a little boring. Farther, it would be nice to have models for the assignments.”

“Hello, Overall the course was a good introduction to teaching english as a foreign language. I do feel that some of the quizzes were confusing in how the questions were worded. And, I didn't feel quite prepared for the written assignments when they came up. But, my tutor was great in providing feedback for my written assignments. Even when I passed on the first time around, the suggestions provided were very helpful. So, for an introduction, the courses in the 120-hour setup was good.”

“I haven't had a chance to look through all of the website's capabilities yet, so my review is only about the course I took and passed. Overall, I'm happy with the course, but I think some of the more difficult topics might have been handled in more detail.”

“Insightful and manageable course, worth the money. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that the material becomes repetitive after a few lessons and there aren’t enough challenging benchmarks. However, with this being a TEFL introduction course, I learned a lot and appreciated my tutor.”

“I thought of giving four stars because I could imagine a better, more comprehensive course, and some of the material seems just a little out of date, but then I thought - probably not for the very reasonable price at which it is offered. I think that quite a few more videos of classroom teaching would have been beneficial, and some of the modules were a little sketchy. Given that the pricing is very reasonable, I think it is a very good course and the extra advice, youtube videos, podcasts and the jobs site are important additions and make it a thoroughly comprehensive experience. I also much appreciated having a tutor to rely on and his or her feedback was extremely valuable.”
