“I ordered scarfs and blankets as gifts, I have to say that they are of the highest quality and comfort. Excellent purchase, I will 100% buy again from TBCo, need to buy something for myself now! Great value and superb quality!”

“I bought 3 scarves, Cashmere grey brushed, Cashmere matt black tartan and lambswool grey charcoal ombre. I only kept the first one, it was really soft the sort of sizing I was looking for. The tartan was also lovely but just smaller than I wanted. And the lambswool one wasn't the shape I wanted and it's just not as soft as Cashmere. Lovely packaging and swift delivery. Not heard of tbco but there stuff is lovely”

“This was my third order from TBCo. When I ordered previously the experience was excellent. The blankets were lovely and promptly sent to Scotland and Canada. No issues whatsoever. This time I sent a gift to Canada with a value slightly over the customs allowance. The recipient was asked to pay about 50 percent of the total value of the item in duties which she declined to do. Canada customs says the import rate on such items is 16-18%. I know TBCo are not responsible for import duties but the recipient said the form was not marked as a gift for import purposes. I emailed TBCo twice to see what would happen. Still haven't received a reply more than a week later. I received a message from UPS to say that they had returned the item to TBCo five days ago but TBCo did not inform me. I emailed them to find out what could be done but had no reply so I tried whats app but still no reply, so three weeks on my sister has no gift, I am out of pocket, and TBCo has the item. Disappointed as I would have liked to use this company again but with the complete absence of customer service, lack of refund, or attempt to redeliver to myself (as I requested) I won't be doing so.”

Thank you for your review, we always appreciate feedback so we constantly improve. We are sorry your experience was not as expected. As is shown on our website we are unable to cover duties and taxes on orders to Canada and unfortunately have no control over how much is charged. We are also unable to mark a shipment as a gift as we are not the gift giver and can not assume a shipment is a gift. I can see there was a back and forth with our customer experience team regarding your order and you have now been refunded in full within 10 working days of the order arriving back with us.

“I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience with the Tartan Blanket Company. Unfortunately, I received an email notifying me that the items which I had ordered, are out of stock. While I understand that stock availability can sometimes be unpredictable, I was disappointed by the lack of communication regarding this issue. It would have been more convenient if I had been informed about the unavailability of the product prior to placing my order and not 6 days after. This would have allowed me to explore alternative options or make an informed decision. As a customer, I value transparency and effective communication. Unfortunately, my experience with the Tartan Blanket Company has fallen short in these areas. I had high expectations for the company based on the positive reviews and recommendations I had come across, but this experience has left me disappointed.”

“Absolutely delighted with my purchases. The care and attention to the packaging was a good indicator of the quality of the items inside. I purchased two scarves and am delighted with them. The colours are beautiful and the fabrics, one cashmere, the other lambswool, are a treat to wear. I hope to use your company again.”
