“They represent themselves as the producers of their blankets. Of the several I bought in the past; the labels say Made in China/designed in Scotland or Made in India. I am not thrilled with this company and feel that they are deceitful and so, I would not purchase anymore products from them, for this reason alone; the blankets are ok.”

Hi there, We are very open and proud of the fact that all of our products are designed in Scotland and Woven by our partner mills. Each product page states where the blanket, scarf or accessories etc are made to ensure people are aware that we do not manufacture within Scotland. “I have purchased multiple blankets from tbco. I was under the false impression that they were "made in Scotland". I looked at the tags and lone behold they are definitely NOT, at least the several I bought were not. One tag says designed in Scotland(lambswool)and made in China. The others, wool, some recycled wools are made in India. So, why is the tbco company pretending that these are actually made in Scotland, I don't know, but it was a buzz kill for this consumer. If I want made in China, I can go to Walmart or any other online or brick and mortar store to find them. Its a shame, I do like the blankets, but I think that this company should have been more honest and less deceptive. Not a good look at all.”

If you have time, could you please expand on where in your shopping journey you felt deceived? We'd love to correct this. We currently write where each item was made in every product listing on our website. We're super proud of our Indian, Inner Mongolian and Peruvian partner mills and went to great lengths to find mills that align with our values, just as we are proud of our Edinburgh studio where we come up with our designs. “I have bought my lambswool blanket, recycled wool scarf and a couple of baby blankets for my nephews and few blankets as presents for the family from TBCo, and I absolutely love their products. The scarves and blankets are so cosy and stylish. The baby blankets are very soft and I love the Scottish design. Amazingly quick delivery and super quality . I keep coming back to buy more from TBCo :)”

“Great wooden blanket that is machine washable too. Saves dry cleaning cost. Good size to use on bed. Unfortunately due to the use of other fivers it is not v smooth but not too rough either. I bought this as a birthday gift for a 90 year old person and it was received v well. He will be able to be nice and warm in bed. I love the colours too.”

“Ordered a large scarf in the sale which I intend to use when flying long haul to cosy up into. Exceeds all expectations. Beautiful fine cashmere knit, soft and snuggly - exactly what is required on often chilly aircraft, but still packs up small when not required. Arrived quickly and beautifully wrapped in fully recyclable packaging. I shall be ordering more things, I'm sure”

“I am replacing a scarf gifted to me, but now lost. As soon as I saw and felt the new scarf, I realised the high quality of previous one was lacking in my new purchase!! I'm not impressed with the quality of new one. It feels thinner, lighter and the white labels cheapens it. Even the fringe is flimsy! I wanted to keep the labels on to remind me of quality, but these are going to have to come off!!”
