Lewis pulled out all the stops to get our BC3 ready for us. The shop is amazing, it has loads of stuff. We have been very happy so far with our new caravan and the customer service we have received, would highly recommend this company.

Great service from the Despatch/handover team - Dean and Jack were friendly, welcoming and helpful. As we were novices they really took the time to make sure we were happy about everything.

Sales and despatch all worked perfectly and the caravan was available on time. The only down side was the lack of prior warning that there was no gas bottle available.

When we arrived to pick up our caravan after a 3 hour drive, we were greeted by a warm welcome and our friendly salesperson went on to show us around our caravan explaining bits and bobs as he went along, taking his time and not rushing. He was incredibly helpful. I noticed that there were some dirty marks around the inside of the caravan but didn't like to say anything as I didn't want to spoil our excitment. However, once we arrived home, on closer inspection, I found that the caravan had not been cleaned properly. There was mould and marks in the fridge, dust in the cupboards and dirty marks everywhere around the caravan. What a shame that this let down an otherwise lovely experience at Oxford caravans.

Great sales and after service. Regrettably my van developed a number of faults soon after delivery, but there after-sales team have been exemplary. They've been fast, efficient and shown a great attention to detail. I would have given 5* but I felt that there handover man should have known more about our particular vehicle. Also, there was no sign of mask wearing during the handover.

Tina, Lee and Dean were all courteous, efficient and professional. The whole buying process was very pleasurable. Sadly, the interior cleaning of the caravan was poor. A shame really, because the person responsible for that element really did let down the whole team. After a few hours, doing what your cleaner should have done, all was pristine. Our purchase was only 15 months old, so it shouldn't have taken a huge amount of effort on your cleaner's part. Anyway, all is now pristine, as it should have been for handover. We are pleased with our purchase.

Purchase process was mixed. The sales team were busy and we didn’t feel there was much if any support at the point of buying. A question of is there was anything else we should consider (being new to caravanIn - which the sales person knew) was answered by pointing to the wall display, rather than any discussion of needs. I think the sales executive was new to the job, and on the day just wanted to get sale done. The dispatch of the vehicle could not have been more different ( thanks jack). All questions answered, great personality, and seem to listen to our needs ( which the sales team didn’t). Because of this dispatch performance yes I would go back to Swindon caravans and hope the sales experience was a one off

Having video instructions for our caravan means we've always got an easy reference. Using a tripod will make it even better.

Lee in the sales department was very helpful and polite, he made us feel welcome. Jack did the handover and went through everything with us. when we hitched the caravan on and checked the lights we had a problem which Ray quickly sorted. the only thing I would say is that the radio wasn't working and the technician was trying to sort it when we arrived to collect, and as we had a nine o'clock collection slot I would have thought that everything would have been checked the day before.

We received a great deal of attention, tuition and information when collecting our caravan yesterday. Very friendly helpful service. The caravan was presents looking smart and clean with everything functioning properly. Only one niggle, when we go home we discovered there was no tool to lower the legs of the caravan. Had we known we would have bought one. We feel one should be provided with every van.

Collected a brand new Bailey Porto caravan and found the dispatch team to be helpful and knowledgeable, some minor issues were quickly resolved, however an other fault was only noticed when I got the caravan home, a few emails later this is now in the process of getting rectified, Good after sales and customer experience.

Good afternoon Mr Luckman, Thank you for your email. Whilst the damage to your caravan is unfortunate I’m afraid Swindon Caravans cannot accept liability for this. A caravan undergoes a number of checks between the time it is delivered to us and the customer collects. It is checked by the sales team when we accept delivery from the manufacturer. No damage was recorded. It is checked by the workshop team when doing the PDI on the caravan. No damage was recorded. It is checked by the despatch team when cleaning the caravan. No damage was recorded. And finally it is checked and signed off by the customer when he collects when again no damage was recorded. Our customer handovers are 1 ½ hours long, provide a full working demonstration and are extremely thorough. You have also been thorough during the handover, spotting some minor issues with imperfections in the wooden furniture which were rectified straight away. The damage you reference is large and by your own admission you have circled the caravan half a dozen times looking for damage without finding anything. These processes have been put in place for exactly these types of scenarios which is why we cannot accept liability in this instance. It is a great shame that you felt the need to post this issue all over the internet and various Facebook groups trying to discredit our business. It is extremely damaging and whilst we do not think it is fair, that is your prerogative. That said, as a gesture of goodwill, we will offer to do the repairs at cost for you should you wish. There are 2 options to get this damage repaired. One option is to remove the rail which is quite a significant job on the Bailey Alu-Tech caravans; something our workshop team is capable of doing but would require a number of hours to complete. The second option is a specialist body repair which is a more cost effective option . Speaking to the Workshop Manager the preferred repair option in this instance would be the specialist body repair because this would not affect the structural integrity of the caravan and the damage does not affect the use of the caravan. We could quote for both and then the choice would be yours. We would need to see the caravan first before giving an estimate. Please advise if you would like to take us up on this offer. If so, then please drop the caravan into us at your earliest convenience and we will prioritise. Regards, Tom
