“Excellent communication from order to delivery! They were even able to accommodate me adding something to my order at the last minute. Absolutely gorgeous marble tiles that look fabulous in my kitchen. Would highly recommend!”

“Everything arrived in good order and tiles appear to be high quality, well packaged when it left stone deals, transit company damaged pallet during final move on pallet truck into my garage (which they didn't have to do) this led to very minor damage to a few tiles, but 99% were undamaged so I was happy about that. Dropping a star for the unrealistic expectation that tiles are examined before delivery driver leaves, there was no delivery note to record any damages on and the driver just left, the tiles were in a crate which was nailed shut and extracting them for a random inspection was just not realistic in any timeframe a delivery company would hang around for - I only noticed the damage to the crate during an inspection which took me 2 hours as the tiles were very tightly packed so impossible to remove random ones for inspection - fortunately as I say 99.9% of the tiles are usable but worth bearing in mind”

Hello Neil, firstly thank you for your order with us. We are sorry to hear you received some damaged claddings on your order however, we have not been informed of this so we would have started proceedings to resolve this for you at the earliest opportunity. Unfortunately, due to the highly fragile nature of claddings and the restrictions in the type of packaging that can be used for them due to their varying thicknesses mean, on rare occasions, damages can unfortunately occur however, if we are informed, we do our best to resolve this for our customers asap. “At first the tiles I wanted were not available but I was informed when they were coming into the warehouse and it was accurate. The courier service was excellent with good communication and a suitable date and time for delivery arranged.”

“The marble floor tiles I ordered are perfect. The service was really fast, all delivered at the agreed date and time, all tiles intact and only one very small chip along one side of one tile that will be absolutely lost in the cuts. I really couldn't ask for anything more. I will definitely recommend and will be back for more. Thanks you for a great job extremely well done.”

“Reasons for 5stars Easy to navigate on line ordering! Quick dispatch of tiles, well packed, no breakages! This is my second time ordering, both occasions received a good service! The tiles are beautiful and have done my entire living room, kitchen and hallway. Have supplied details to friends! Excellent delivery service, most helpful. Thank you”

“The quality was excellent, the price was competitive, it was all in stock and buying online was quick and easy! The delivery cost was just bearable with a 3-5 day drop off promised BUT that wasn’t going to happen in that timeframe we were told and we had to travel to Treforest and pick it up from a depot if we wanted it earlier than ten days.”

“We had excellent service from this company last summer with the tiles for our hall. So much so that we splashed out and ordered a large quantity of the same material for our kitchen. I don’t know if Stone Deals have changed their delivery agent but this time was horrendous; insolent, disrespectful and ignorant staff member at the courier company who didn’t listen, failed to acknowledge our communication and the result (apart from the fact that we will never use stone deals again) is that we were left several hundred pounds out of pocket having paid workmen to wait around for delivery. It’s the first time I’ve ever made such a serious complaint and been met with the ‘it wasn’t our fault, it was the delivery agent’ response from the person I paid my money to. Seriously unimpressed”

Hello Ms Berends We again apologise on behalf of the 3rd party hauliers. We do however feel the need to kindly point out that our response being quoted in your review is not being communicated within context. This wording is not entirely accurate and is a small section of our several responses to you when tryine to ensure you recieve your delivery at the earliest possible opportunity. As you may (or may not) be aware, we had several e-mails between us and yourselves while dealing with the unfortunate delay of your order delivery, we also had several telephone conversations during this matter with your partner, Mr Berends, we apologised on several occasions, informing you and Mr Berends that we will do our best to ensure your order was delivered at the earliest possible opportunity and updated yourselves with the ongoing investigation and the progress of your order delivery. Our department manager also ensured that he did contact Mr Berends in person to ensure you (Mr Berends) was satisfied with the outcome after your order delivery was made to you at which point our department manager also informed Mr Berends that any lack of respectful behaviour by any 3rd party local depot staff is taken very seriously by us and the necessary steps will be taken by us and the central haulier hub management to proceed to a disciplinary action towards this particular member of staff. We thank you again for your order with us and respectfully and kindly highlight again that, we feel we have taken all the necessary steps in doing our best to deal with this issue for you.
