“Overall pretty good quality and well made, lacks the silicone gripper on the hem to prevent jersey from riding up at the back, this was probably the only negative but important to me so only 3 star rating.”

“Bought 2 jerseys: 1 long sleeve 1 short both sizes: L. The long sleeves fits perfectly, the short sleeve is tight but couldn’t return cause no more XL sizes. Also why do they have to be washed by hands???”

Hi Brigitte, Sorry to hear the SS jersey wasn't a good fit. We do now have some XL in stock if you're still after an exchange - we've also sent you an email to see if we can help with that. Re. the washing instructions, although washing by hand is the ideal, we appreciate that's not always practical! The jerseys are fine to be machine washed at a low temperature, with liquid detergent and no fabric softener. Please do get in touch if we can help any further :) Abby

“Sorry but not impressed with my first order and won’t be ordering again. Sizing needs to be sorted out. You can’t have unisex, I.e I bought some gloves but a mans small is not the same as a womans small. I then paid £5 to return them. Not expecting that as most cycling retailers have a free returns option. Your refunds policy is very slow. I contracted you on the 10th November to say I haven’t heard anything. I received an email on the 11th November stating they would ‘push’ my refund through. I’m still waiting. So not a very good experience for my first purchase.”

However the climb and conquer jersey was a poor fit; fitted well in the body but huge around the shoulders and neck, far too much fabric above the shoulders and I do have fairly broad shoulders along with a slim body. So disappointed as I loved the design of the fabric.”

“For me, this is an overhyped jersey that is a classic of form over function. The Stolen Goat designs are brilliantly different and the fit, for me, is perfect - it's the best fitting cycling jersey I've ever had. It's well made, it works well with or without a base layer, is really comfortable on those all-day rides, and yes the zip does work very nicely. Thank You. In terms of function however: "Come rain, wind or shine this jersey will keep you dry, the right temperature ...... " no it won't!!! It will keep out an occasional light shower but not the rain I ended up in earlier this week; it will resist some wind but it won't fully cut out the cold damp northerly winds of recent weeks; and in terms of "right temperature" well, it does work reasonably well for me but I like to run cool. Despite the lovely roubaix lining, this is not a warm jacket and I suspect many will need a good base layer in single digit temperatures. And in terms of "this jersey replaces 4 or 5 garments in your wardrobe" I really don't know what garments it's going to replace if any. Overhyped - yes somewhat. Now, all that being said, this jacket is beginning to grow on me and it's becoming my go to jacket as autumn approaches. With some 50 years experience in the mountains I know a thing or two about waterproof and windproof garments, and I bought this not expecting it to be either. Screeds of things have been written on both topics so I won't go into it here. The Orkaan Everyday Jersey achieves a reasonable balance between breathability and wind resistance, and I did arrive home fully dry after being caught out in an unexpected 15 minute shower in middle of a 4 hour cycle. I will however continue to carry a lightweight shell which is 100% windproof and reasonably waterproof when rain and/or cold winds likely. Above is based on 1 month's use - maybe I should re-review after another 6 months. Final small point, but have included for those at Stolen Goat as it would be easy to fix going forward - the waterproof pocket - it will only just take my iphone8 which is by no means the largest smartphone out there. Being fully waterproof it has no stretch, but it could easily be made a little bit larger without any impact to fit or function of the jersey as the extra material would be "lost" in the main pocket. Even the zip could stay the same size. Just a thought ....”

“I really liked the look and feel of the material in the Stolen Goat bib shorts, however I was disappointed in the quality/amount of padding in the chamois. I’m comparing them to similarly priced bib shorts that I own. I will use these shorts on rides of an hour or less or for short indoor trainer sessions.”

“Service, delivery etc. was perfectly fine. Feel fairly disappointed with the quality of the item based on the price - especially after hearing so many wonderful things! I think a £75 jersey should feel better quality. The fit is good, but I expected attention to details on things like the sleeves (no stitching/rubber on the edges) and the zip is uncomfortable against the chest when its unzipped (no lining, zip is hard).”

“I loved my first Stolen Goat order, my Orkaan bib pants. So I ordered the Climb and Conquer bibs along with a Climb and Conquer jersey. They fit, but are quite snug compared to the original pair. Had I known- or had it been recommended to size up because of the difference in the stretch from one fabric to another I would have definitely gone to a bigger size. Being in Canada, the cost of returning and exchanging and the time that would take is just too much, so I feel like I need to compromise and keep the size I have.”
