I ordered a new cycle top it was received quickly and a great quality product but it was too small, I have followed their returns process but the credit has not been received on my account after 3 weeks. I really liked the top and wanted to order a larger version but not sure now?

Gloves neither warm nor waterproof as advertised. 20 minutes light rain and they were soaked through, water pooling inside gloves after 30 minutes. In the dry at 6degrees my hands were numb after 2 hours.
Hi Stephen We're really sorry to hear this - these gloves should in fact be fully waterproof - they have a membrane in between two layers of fabric, so no water at all should penetrate. The fact that you've had soaking hands after your rides, makes us thing that there could be a fault. However, it's also very possible that the moisture is sweat, as the waterproofing does certainly compromise the breathability. I recently received (couple of weeks ago) a set of Orkaan Full Length Bib Tights, from Order no 411497. Every other purchase I have made from you over the years I have been really pleased with, but that is not the case here unfortunately. I’ve now worn these out on medium distance rides 3 times over the last couple of weeks, and although they are warm enough, I just can’t get them to fit comfortably. I eventually ordered these in XL, having tried the L which were just too tight. Even though I am only 11st 6lbs and 6ft 1in, I needed this size for a reasonable comfortable fit around the hips. The issue though is really with the length of the legs, and in particular the placement of the knee section. The legs are actually quite surprisingly short, only around 64 cms inseam (unstretched) not including the foot strap. That compares to around 74 cms inseam on my other cycling tights which have no foot strap. My usual inside leg measurement is 81 cms (32ins). Your website description states that the height of the rider is less of a concern, because they are extremely stretchy. That is true, and if it weren’t for the knee section I could probably cope with them - although the foot strap would still be above my ankle to get a good fit. It is just impossible to stretch the legs in the right way and in the correct proportion for above and below knee sections. The knee section is not placed around the middle part of the leg, which it surely needs to be for a reasonable fit. If I try to keep the knee section placed actually on my knee where it should be, then I am unable to just stretch the top part of the leg enough (without pulling the knees up), so I end up with a saggy crotch section, not fitting properly and creating unwanted friction. In fact the sizing of the tights is such that they hardly need stretching at all to sit comfortably on my knees. If I stretch the tights to get a good fit around the crotch and ensure that the pad fits well (essential for frictionless riding and avoidance of saddle sores), the knee section then sits on my leg wholly above the knee. Importantly, that means that both of the inside seams of that knee section are rubbing against the tendons on the back and top of my leg, which I find quite irritating and sore. So overall I find these impossible to wear comfortably, due in my view to some odd sizing of the legs, and don’t think I will be wearing them again. So quite disappointing for something that is not cheap.

The Men's Core Black Bodyline Cycling Gilet has good and bad points. The good points comprise the high neck to protect from cold and wind, the large rear pocket and; the long cut of the front and rear to protect from the elements. I have mixed feeling about the openings to give access to jersey pockets. Access is rarely straight forward and requires some 'searching' with the hand that when off the bars seems always longer and not ideal. What was bad was the construction. The number of panels that make up that garment provide opportunity for variation in stitching with some seams pulled differently. So many panels, seams and stitching! The most noticeable quality issue was the finish of the piping around the arm holes. Where it joins it is roughly cut and misaligned See photo). I check with SG revealed that all arm hole piping is to this same standard. The is the worst I have seen but you might not mind as its under your arm? In summary if you want a full SG kit then the price is reasonable and it does what it designed to do. If you need to carry a lot of stuff and want easy access a different gilet with 3 pockets would be better. If you're a stickler for quality then a different brand is the advice.

Stolen Goat jersey sizes run very small compared to regular sizes causing unnecessary returns. For example, I normally wear a men's L but after my first order and return I have learned that I need to order a Stolen Goat men's size XXL. A cycling friend who normally wears a woman's size XS had to return a Stolen Goat women's M because it was too tight and order a size women's L.
Hi Robert, Thanks for this feedback, and sorry to hear that you couldn't get a good fit straight away. I think you've now got what you need, but please do get back in touch if we can help at all. With the sizing charts, we aim to give the best fit for the majority of people, but appreciate that they don't work for everyone - so we're sorry. Fit is such a personal thing, and it's about finding what works for you. Another complicating factor is that fit will also depend on the cut of of the jersey. For example if something is a race cut, and so designed to be like a second skin, this can mean people often need to size up one, or even two sizes to get a more relaxed fit. The feedback is very much noted though - ultimately, we want to make is as easy as possible for people to get the fit that they're after. If that doesn't happen first time, we'll always do what we can to help out with exchanges, to make things as hassle free as possible. I have purchased several Items from the Stolen Goat. And I discovered that I had ordered a duplicate jersey I reached out to them to return it only to find that they do not pay for return postage. As I am from United States but it cost over $100 to send it back. I find this an unacceptable policy to not pay for returns. Almost all online vendors do provide free returns. I will not buy from them again.
Jacket was a really unusual fit across the shoulders and sadly it will put me off trying anything again as returns cost and are a bit of a faff.

Bought a pair of climb and conquer bib tights but returned them as they came up smaller than the sizing guide suggests - still waiting on the refund and the products not in stock to get a new pair so feeling less than enthused every day of this autumn rain not having the desired kit

I ordered a Jersey from Stolen Goat. The delivery address on the order confirmation didn't show house number - I guessed for security reasons. When the Jersey didn't arrive I checked and was informed the Jersey had been returned by sender. It had been sent to wrong address. A few months later I ordered some gloves taking great care to put full address details in and double checking them. Guess what happened?! To compound the issue I was told by Stolen Goat is was definitely my fault - I had put wrong house number in twice! Oh and as they were experts in the house numbering system in my street they advised me the gloves were delivered to my next door neighbour's house and I ought to have better neighbourly relations in place in the future. Both items were actually delivered to a house at other end of the street whose occupants weren't that well acquainted with potential Stolen Goat customers several hundred metres away... That's it for me and Stolen Goat I am afraid!

I can assure you that in no way were we trying to place blame, simply giving what information we can, to try and avoid the same thing happening again. As the address came through to us with the same error each time, we suggested that it's possible that your browser is auto filling the address incorrectly. We asked whether it was possible for you to collect the package from the number it had been delivered to. You explained your couldn't, which was not a problem at all - we issued a refund for you as you wished. Again, we're sorry that things haven't worked out so far. Nice fabric , great design , Core style looks great . I bought 3 pairs of shorts and 3 jerseys . However the let down is the zipper on the jerseys and the ‘ridging‘ that ocvurs. Your customer service team are aware of issue and have been great so I am loath to return items I bought as they offered. One last thought : you’ve sold out of a lot of stock (eg core black jersey and shorts ) in most sizes. Why don’t you manufacture more ?

I ordered a Stolen Goat Men’s Bodyline LS which unfortunately did not suit me as to short in body and pockets not deep enough for my requirements. Sent it back but in doing so also enquired as to details of your Orkaan Everyday LS asking if its fit would be longer in the body and if the pockets were deeper. Never had a reply! Also on said repayment of returned goods, eventually had to phone up enquiring why this had not been done. I did get some reason and apology, with the repayment then being done straight away. Just a shame that was not felt with in the manor indicated without phoning to find out why.

As a result of the pandemic and ensuring safety is maintained, our warehouse are currently running at reduced capacity, with various quarantine procedures in place for returned goods - therefore we know there are some delays there. The length of the Orkaan is very similar to that of the Bodyline jerseys, although the fit is slightly more relaxed which can lead to a little extra length. Received everything on time, but after several washes I'm not as happy with the product. It appears to have shrunk slightly and material has bobbled. I am using a 20C wash. Delivery was fine and overall I have no complaints with the service. This is one og the Gravel Adventure tops.

I was very pleased that you had exceptionally agreed to make the jacket I wanted despite the size not being available online. Although I discussed sizing on the phone sadly my figure is too manly for the jacket and it is a very firm fit and as such unwearable.Difficult to see how this will be resolved as you made this on special order.

I have 6 of Stolen Goat jerseys of various style and had been very happy with their quality and attention to detail. Unfortunately, the most recent Jersey I purchased has sleeves that are not matched in length. The left sleeve is about one cm shorter than the left one. I was not going to raise an alarm and have to deal with the return/exchange hassles but you asked.

gloves are ok I wouldn’t class them as winter gloves more mild weather. Bit disappointed went back to my rapha gloves won’t buy any more stolen goat on experience...
Hi Craig, We're really sorry to hear that the gloves haven't worked well for you. We agree that in very cold temperatures, a liner is potentially a good idea, depending on how cold your hands get. We've recently amended the product description to reflect this, as we certainly don't intend to be misleading.
