“Renewal quote was reasonable so I have used START again. Easy form to complete online. I requested paper copies which they sent quite quickly. I can't comment further because I haven't had to actually use the breakdown service.”

“After years with the AA and RAC and their stricter policy rules and higher prices which is more like car insurance, I found Start a far easier a better value option.”

“My Partner also a member of Start Rescue was taking her car for a general service when the exhaust box fell and got trapped under the car. She immediately phone the garagw e to say what had happened and was unable to drive the car to meet the appointment for service could they help? alas no they could not and she had to make her own arrangements to get her car to the garage. So my partner had to walk home and look out her documents to contact Start Rescue. Thank goodness for Start Rescue as the operator took the relevent detils and unfortuneately they could not come for two hours, but my partner stressed the car was on a busy road and parked on a double yellow line and the ever helpful operator aware of the mounting anxiety and stress of my partner found a driver who came after 20 minutes lifted her car onto the tow truck, took her to the garage who I must say repaired the exhaust the same day although had to rebook for the service. To say it was a relief for her is an understatement and the fact Start Rescue kept in constant contact till heir driver arrved was such a wonderful act to do. Very impressed and have no problem in recomending them highly. And yes I have just renewed my cover.”

“Have not required rescue so far so unable to comment on this. However find website and online renewal etc very user friendly and convenient. Prices highly competitive and value 'personal cover' option as I drive two cars.”

“Fabulous, I was assisted by a lovely person, got me on the right track, answered all my questions, even the one about taking my cats to the vets, hoping they weren’t counted as livestock 🤣 I would recommend this company anyday”

“Excellent help and servce when needed. Have been with Start Rescue for some years now and only this year, 2026, needed 'rescuing' - blown tyre caused by pothole. A speedy and efficient car pickup by a low-loader to nearest tyre replacement company. Could not be better.”
