My annual premium has risen nearly £20 to £52 if I had cancelled and renewed according to the website I would have paid £38 also I have contacted Start Rescue and as yet have had no reply needless to say I am not very happy

price under comparison site was £7.75 cheaper but you would not honour this and as an elderly lady that would have meant a lot I did take out the insurance because I was too tired to do otherwise

I have not used the service so cannot review that but my review reflects the ridiculous price increase. I'm not happy but right now I am not able to shop around and get a better deal so will have to roll with the auto renewal this year however I would be recomending Start rescue to friends anymore. Not a happy customer really.

Tried to pay online which was acceptable then 2 days before the policy starts I got an email stating my card was out of date......how could it have been when I inputted the details??? Ended up having to phone to renew

Plenty of notice of renewal advising that it had gone up 45%!! Emailed and asked for a revised quote given had cover for 3 years and no claims. Got an answer on the renewal date, took £9.00 off.

Cheap but poor service when you call them out. My only single experience was I waited over 4 hours after initially being told less than 1 hour. I was then put on a truck and taken home as they could fix it!

Renewal information never received via email and I only got a text 14 days ago otherwise I wouldnt have known. I even tried resetting my password, but that link never came through. I therefore have no way of accessing my account online. Perhaps posting renewals like you used to would be helpful

firstly when money goes onto the website and wants to sign in if you have two cars in the household which many people do you’re not sure what to do because it only gives you space for one numberplate. There is no Square which says if you wish to register more than one car. So I dealt with this on the phone with a member of your staff who handled it very well the problem we then had was to pay. I was passed over to the accounts and my card number darling it on on the phone was not excepted we then tried on a different phone line it was still not excepted I was told I would have to do the whole thing online but the above problem would come up again or call back and do the whole thing again the problem was not mine it was the system would not accept my card in the end I was passed to another accounts person, Where my number went in perfectly so the first ladies machine was at fault but I was handed the responsibility of doing all the work again

Once the first vehicle has been submitted, a second, third etc vehicle can be entered. You have asked me to comment on the joining process. So far that has not worked well. I was promised an email within minutes of joining. No such email arrived. I have advised Customer Services but so far no reaction. I hope this is not typical of the breakdown service. You clearly have my email address as you asked me for this review.

I was informed that the renewal would be taken from my account on the 28th but it was taken on the 26th - I have to budget for these things so please take the premium when stated and not an arbitrary earlier date

Dear Mr Carroll, Please be advised we do our upmost to reward our loyal customers by ensuring they can renew at a cheaper rate compared to purchasing a brand new policy. As a result of our premiums being based on the age of the vehicle you may find that during the course of many polices with us your premium may increase due to the age of the vehicle requiring a higher premium to cover. Additionally if you have changed your vehicle throughout your time with us, you may find that the premium increase is due to the age of the vehicle.

sorry but the only time I have had to use your service I was disappointed the operator did not try to rectify the small repair had to get someone else to fix a really small repair hopefully I do not have to use your service but in the case I have to I hope for a better service ,

Only given 2 stars due to the low price but you get what you pay for. I had pre booked the recovery of my car for 10:30am the morning after i broke down.. i received a text at 9am from STARTRESCUE saying that the recovery crew were on their way (third party), I called them up to ask if this was correct as I had booked it for 10:30, they confirmed that it was correct and i should make my way to the cars location. So i took a taxi to where i left my car and waited... nobody came but at about 10:30 i received a call from the third party recovery crew saying they were setting off from their last job and will arrive within 20 mins... i told them about the text i received stating they were setting off at 9am.. they denied any knowledge about the text. I then called up start rescue to which they basically said sorry and that was it.. Told to arrive at my car for 9ish even though i booked a recovery for 10:30, they eventually showed up at around 11
