I was unable to renew online because my various cards were all rejected at checkout. I had to do it by phone which is very difficult for me because of my hearing loss. I have no idea how much the phone call cost me as the call rate was not notified to me and it took a long time. The first call was made by SR but had to be abandoned because I could not hear well enough. I rang back. Given that I was renewing for the same car the extensive questioning seemed unnecessary.
