“Not sure why it was cheaper to join for a year via Compare The Market, rather than direct to Starta. Also, I was disappointed, after going through the process of joining,to then learn that the app wouldn't install on my 3yr old Samsung Galaxy.”

“Since being with start rescue I have only needed to use their services once in 2015 . They responded very quickly to a motorway breakdown and the mechanic was courteous and professional . I would not hesitate to reccomend Start Rescue to anyone requiring breakdown cover .”

“ALTHOUGH I HAVE NOT HAD TO USE START RESCUE, I WAS WITH A FRIEND WHO I HAD GOT TO JOIN START.WE WERE IN SCOTLAND TOURING WHEN HIS BIKE BROKE DOWN, START WERE FANTASTIC, THEY COULD NOT GET A BIKE FOR HIM TO USE SO INSTEAD GOT HIM A CAR TO GET HOME IN , THEN DROPPED HIS BIKE OFF AT HIS HOME NEXT DAY, AND PICKED UP THE CAR WHICH WAS MANCHESTER. START WERE FANTASTIC THANKS.”

“Competitive prices, easy to use website, I use them for motorcycle and car breakdown and so far so good. I’ll reserve anything more than 4 stars until I have a breakdown. They did dupe me into paying for European travel insurance a few years ago and because they provide motorcycle breakdown it didnt cross my mind to check that the travel insurance covered Europe. Guess what, it didnt, they impose a 125cc restriction on European motorcycle cover, and all of my bikes are well over 125cc!”

“Purchased because of the offer, the price and the service. Had need to call them last October 2024 and the service, mainly punctuality was second to none. Required a low loader to take me 45 miles to my home. From the initial phone call to getting home was under two hours. The driver was five out of five. Very understanding ad helpful Unbeatable service.”
