“Actually since I started using Start Rescue I have been generally very pleased with the service! I called SR in March and was very pleased the mechanic was very efficient and sorted the problem with my key and alarm! However I needed a new car battery as I had not been driving for more than a month due to suffering a broken arm ! To my horror I had to pay £95 for a new battery when it was hardly a month out of warranty ! Had I been driving the battery would have been in warranty time ! I am 82 years old and very unhappy with that situation ! In January I needed help with my car alarm and key ! The mechanic who attended in January didn’t have a clue about car alarms or keys and all he advised was take it to Citroen dealer on breakdown lorry ! Citreon would not take the car for 3 weeks ! That call was a disaster to SR! However over all the March call out mechanic was terrific ! But I was annoyed about the battery episode !”

“on the very few occasions I've needed assistance, start rescue have been brilliant. They quickly take your details and arrange for a local firm to help - which means that the wait time is pretty quick. Can't fault them.”

“I have had START Rescue for a number of years and been "rescued" successfully a few times but not for at least the last 3 years. This year I had to think hard about changing due to over a 12% increase on last year and a significant increase the year before. If the trend continues next year I will be looking to change to a new provider.”

“We have had both our cars registered with Start Rescue for a couple of years. Fortunately, to date, we have not had to call them out. However, we switched to them, and have stayed with them based on the cover they offer at a price we think is better than other organisations. Renewal is straightforward and the regular newsletters are timely reminders to check out vehicles.Highly recommended.”

“I have only had to call you once last November,I hit a large stone in the road and split my tyre.having no spare tyre with my car I had to be recovered.the gentleman who came out was brilliant nothing was to much trouble.i could not praise the recovery enough.”

“I pulled in to get petrol, filled up, then the car was dead as a dodo. I phoned start rescue as i am an old lady and dont do aps. The young man i spoke to was very pleasant and understanding. The breakdown truck was there in under 30 minutes. Nice young man very friendly. He explained my options, gave me a jump start and i drove straight to my mechanic. Very happy with the service and the speed of he breakdown truck arriving. Thank you very much.”
