“Wait time was a little excessive, granted, there was an issue with the car tax. However, when help arrived in the form of Martin from Ravenscroft extremely positive - super nice bloke, efficient, and when you have to sit in a cab with someone for 90 minutes, you want a bit of fun banter - which is exactly what it was ... top man.”

“Excellent sevice from Start Rescue after I was involved in an accident. The bike was broken and so was I. The app was simple to use and the recovery van was on scene within 40 minutes. I was nearly two hours away from home. The recovery driver loaded up the bike and then took me and the bike all the way back to my home address. He unloaded the bike and pushed it into my gargage for me as I was unable to. I didn't know then but I had a broken ankle and hand. Start Rescue provide a service that hopfully you will never require but on that day when I really needed them, they came up trumps. They were brilliant.”

“A varied experience. The customer services agent was professoinal and helpful, but the corporate process for renewing was poor. I had a 3-star policy that expiried on Tuesday but I needed to have 5-star cover from the previous Saturday. So I asked if we could bring the renewal forward by 3 days. No deal. I could buy additional short-term cover for my old policy - just to cover the gap between Saturday and Tuesday - but that would cost almost the same as the annual cover. My other option was to cancel my old policy and then take out the new 5-start policy from today. Apparently, you need 2 days cover before the full 5-star cover kicks in. However, because it's a new policy, I'm paying a 25% higher rate compared to my renewal quote on exactly the same policy. I don't think I had any real option - so I took out the new policy and ended up essentially paying £20+ for those three days. Why couldn't that renewal be brought forward by 3 days?”
