“I have only just joined so not had any experience of a call out with this company. I was pleased with how quickly they emailed the membership paperwork so should I ever need to call for home start/roadside assistance I hope my call will be dealt with as promptly.”

“Just bought breakdown cover, haven't used it yet.. Easy to do with no fuss.. Would've liked to have European cover too but they won't cover my bike (1942 Harley) because it's over a certain age...”

“I have used Start in the past and service is more or less the same as other breakdown servicies. The proof will be when I have to use it. These days its seems everyone wants you to use an app and not talk to someone human. I chose start becuase they offered value for money and it was quite simple to set up. There were slightly cheaper prices out there but they were brands I have never heard off”

“I have been with Greenflag for years whose prices have been jumping up every year, and Startrescue's price was about a third of my latest renewal quote from them, for a similar level of cover. Breakdown recovery is a service no one wants to have to use, and likely a very small percentage of drivers ever need, so maintaining reasonable and competitive charges is very important. Their service quality remains to be seen, but is something I hope never to have to test!”
