“Have been with StartRescue for few years now and have had to call them out several times, once on Christmas day. Never had to wait long and they have been able to sort us out by repair at roadside or getting the vehicle to our garage. The price each year as increased but compared to other companies so far been cheaper with the renewal discount for the same cover.”

“I have been a customer for just over 10 consecutive years and whilst never havign had to claim I have been able to a get clear and easy to renewal process and policy documentation/wording. The prices quotes are fair for the cover provided and some of the best in the breakdown cover market.”

“This is my third year with Start. A call out was needed during the first year and the service was excellent from the initial call, short waiting time, friendly experienced breakdown recovery driver. Journey to garage near home. Not needed during second year but on renewed day today I needed to call to request help with a burst tyre. I struggled a little with the app so switched to phone which was answered immediately. A polite helpful assistant was just talking me through the process when my son in law arrived to pick up my grandson. When he realised that I had a skinny emergency wheel he immediately set to change the wheel for me so I was able to stop the call out which was proceeding well but then not needed. However it reassured me that I had made the right choice in maintaining my cover with you.”

If your vehicle was on 5 Star and has been offered 3 Star this is most likely due to your vehicle entering a different age bracket and Start Rescue no longer being able to offer European cover for the vehicle. We can confirm that we sent renewal reminders via email and SMS to you via your provided contact details prior to the renewal date. The email reminders would have clarified that we were offering the equivalent level of cover excluding the European cover we are no longer able to offer and the options available to you.
