“Have been with Staet Rescue for a few years now and was delighted when they reviewed my annual payment and reduced it this year. I have only had one breakdown episode when I felt it essential to call Start Rescue, and they were amazing. It was on a dark, bitterly cold Scottish winter's evening, a quiet road, scared stiff, miles from home, when a problem arose, called Start Rescue, and in less than an hour, I was back home. The lad who arrived fixed the problem, then followed me to within a short distance of my home before turning back to Perth. Both he and the initial contact I made went far beyond what I expected. I am in my eighty-third year, registered disabled, insulin-dependent diabetic and due to the delay in getting home, needed sugar to stop me going into a coma. Their prompt action ensured that I remained safe and conscious. Top marks to all of those involved. Vicki Watson”

“Renewal process is easy. Pricing is very competitive. The one time I had to call for a rescue it was easy, very quick and did the job very well despite being on a bank holiday.”

“Fortunately I haven't needed their services but the renewal cost was very reasonable and the cheapest I've seen. They always seem a very professional company ready to assist with any query and keeping me informed of the renewal process. I fully intend to stay with them, why change?”

“I have used start rescue in my last car 3 times over 10 years, as a woman on my own in the car, I've never had to wait longer, and my problem has always been fixed. The price is so resonable I have decided to renew and stay with Start Rescue even although I now have a new car.”

Hello Chris, Thank you for your feedback. We took the step last year to be more transparent to customers, with regards to the fees that we apply to policies. The fee is transparently included in any quotation you received from us and detailed separately, whereas, previously the fee was still charged but it was included as part of the overall price for our products. The fee covers general operational overheads which include the overall administration of your breakdown policy, as well as providing the assistance service whenever you need it, 24 hours a day, every day of the year. The amount of the fee will vary based on a number of factors including the type of service a breakdown policy is designed to provide. Best wishes, the Start Rescue Team

“Excellent service and very prompt to rescue me when my car conked out. Previously I was with the RAC who were hopeless and let me down three times by just not turning up! Start Rescue were brilliant when I needed them and they are cheaper than the useless big names.”
