“Quality of item good but sizing so variable cannot rely on fit.”

“Ordered two pairs of identical trousers - the only difference - one pair - ideal fit the other - far too small. This was clearly shown when placed on top of the good fit - leg width was much reduced. Returned the unsuitable pair - but had to pay for postage!”

“I find the sizing so difficult to decide which size is best. So unfortunately had to send order back at my expense. Most companies offer free returns. Will bear this in mind in future.”

“Customer service outstanding. Was talked through best size etc to get. Disappointed with thinness of denim and Having only worn the jeans twice the knees are starting to look saggy. Despite an elasticated waistband waist is too big although fit in legs very good. Despite rave reviews for Robell And a friend recommending them overall disappointed and will not be buying anymore”

“I emailed on the 1st March to get some advice on the fit of a pair of jeans but received no response. I decided to order two pairs anyway to try but neither were suitable so have been returned. Just waiting for a refund now.”

“The clothes are beautiful. I live in EU and had to pay UK VAT and then EU VAT on top because Robell do not have any arrangements made with the authorities to pay the difference. Neither would they use the cost excl VAT on customs dec to minimize what I had to pay so I paid VAT on top of VAT. Unfair and unnecessary. Robell should get their act together if they want to keep EU customers”

“I’ve ordered a few pairs of Robell trousers over the last couple of years. I am generally pleased with them and they arrive quickly. If you have a problem with the size or colour, the staff are very helpful on the phone. I haven’t given my usual 5 stars because I find the short length still too long and you have to pay to return items. I am a size 10/12 so it’s tricky to find the right size and you have the hassle of sending things back.”

“I like the trousers but I am a size 8 & am 5ft 7ins tall & the 31 inch leg length is too short for me. For summer ankle grazer trousers they would probably be ok. So I may buy some more trousers in the spring/ summer but unless you do a 33 inch leg length I won't purchase any more winter trousers.”

“I ordered a pair of trousers and paid for them, but then was contacted a day later or two days later to say that they were out of stock and it was a system error. I was told they will try and get them from Germany for me and they could take 10 to 14 days. it is now about 14 days, and I am unsure whether I am going to receive them or not. It would be good to be kept up-to-date with at what stage my order is at.”

“Love Robell ordered style that normally fits perfectly. Unfortunately I usually have cropped but wanted longer for Christmas and they are just too long for me. It looks like you can either buy cropped or the one length. Sadly had to return”
