“This was my first purchase from SSR. All the size 10s appeared to be out of stock in the style that I wanted so I tried a size 12 (I am somewhere in between 10 and 12). They were too big and I didn't like the fabric so I have returned them today. I was disappointed to have to pay return postage as most of the large fashion houses give paid return labels. It will have to be something sensational before I use Robell again.”

“Disappointed with fit this time. Other Marie I have purchased (including two fleece lined), we're better fit. These are far roomier through hip and top of leg but I think a size 6 would probably be too small in waist, so I shall keep but will need to do a bit of seamstress work to adjust. I appreciate women's shapes have changed but some of us are still slim hipped! I think your actual garment manufacturers need to be told about sizing.”

“I’ve had Marie trousers from Robell for many years and always bought size 10 for summer and 12 for the lined winter ones. Unfortunately I’m having to return my latest size 10 order as they are tighter than previous pairs have been, so that they wrinkle down the legs, which doesn’t look good. I’m ordering size 12 instead but I feel it’s a bit of a risk as I might have to pay another return postage. I also don’t know what size to order for my next winter pair. My existing size 10 pairs still fit, so I’m wondering if sizing has changed or I received a ‘Friday’ pair.”

“I've bought these trousers for a few years but I think the quality has deteriorated. The waistband is not holding up and the trousers get baggy which they never did before. I'm a size 12 because they come up small. Disappointed in the material quality and won't buy them next year.”

“Still waiting for one pair of trousers. Very happy with one top but the second I am returning. I bought the same style and size trousers one in gray and one black but one fits and the other doesn’t so returning. Overall good quality but very long delivery time and sizing a problem”

“Great service with prompt deliveries. My only complaint is that to return/exchange anything we have to pay postage! It cost me £7.65 today to exchange two items, one for a different size and one for different colour.”

“I love to Robell trousers abs have lots but Marie Capri fit has changed and they are baggy on the legs now . Had to return them . Will try another range .”

“I love the jeans but being a petite person the 29" length is still too long and I have to pay someone to shorten them. Also I am not a fan of the split at the ankle. Other than that I like them.”

“Before I ordered I spoke to one of the ladies online. I explained that I had just had a hip revision with a nasty scar and I was in my eighties and wanted soft Jean material. I have about 10 pair of Robell and love them. Much to my amazement these were slim fit and of no use to me at all. The service from this company is prompt, well priced and excellent package and delivery. I certainly cannot give a good review this time 🤨 unfortunately.”

“I have a number of your slim fit trousers. Most are just the right fit, except for Bella 09 colour 111. All my Bella 09 size 40 have enough depth form waist to crotch. Colour 111, off white , sits more like hipster trousers. Just not deep enough and are quite tight fit.”

“Love the quality of my robell golf Lexi shorts/ Capri and full length pants I bought last year and this year! One problem only - I order the same size but they fit differently....most frustrating! Why is this happening?”

“Unfortunately the first trousers ordered were a size 10(too small) and returned for replacement of the same style and colour in size 12. These were out of stock and I waited several weeks for a further delivery. These labelled size 12 arrived last week before the Bank Holiday were no different from the size 10 when tried on. Those answering the telephone enquiry calls were helpful and courteous but as the customer I have been very frustrated !!”
