Seems to work great. A quick toggle option between different headphone profiles would be a nice addition, also the support of USB measurement microphones.

Sonarworks makes my Sennheiser HD 650 sound more reliable for mastering but it is a big difference between my AKG 240, DT 770 and my HD 380 with EQ compensation. There is also some problems when you work with different sampling frequencies. If I work with a session in 96k and switch to 44.1 i often have to reboot my computer. It is also very important to bypass Sonarworks when you are mixing in monitors.

It is a great way to produce in a homeenvironment with headphones, so that it doesn´t affect yout family. But it is not a replacement for a measured Workspace in a real Studio room. Anyway, fo me it is a good solution for recording and editing when I am on the road or at customers. For the final mixes or Mastering I would recommend to instruct a pro Studio. But Maybe if you make one Version of your mastered track with Sonarworks and the other by a pro Studio it would be interesting to hear in the end.

Had problems with doing the measurments. During a Remote-Session with the Sonarworks-Team we identified the problem and fixed it. It took some time from my first ticket till fixing the problem, but in the end, it worked out well.

The actual EQ correction works very well, and is the best sounding correction on the market. Activation process in the VST plugin was a bit buggy (I had to activate via Systemwide), and the software lacks an auto-update function. Overall a good piece of software, but could use a bit more polish. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Great product, works fantastic. No issues with this at all. The only issue was as a Canadian they charged me EU currency which was more than US currency (even with the exchange rate). The US customers get a far better deal compared to Canadians. I sent an email to Sonarworks, asking why Canadians were being overcharged, yet they apparently deemed me not worthy of a response.

The core feature is outstanding. But as a desktop application, True-fi should have some basic features besides the excellent sound quality. For example, we should be able to hide the app icon from the Dock as we already have it on the menu bar and the app shouldn't prevent the sleep mode. I can't keep the app open because of it. These are not related to the sound quality but make a little uncomfortable the everyday use.

I've bought Sonarworks reference 4 for headphones. It works generally good, but since I am not using an external audio interface, it was hard to figure out why the volume was lowered so much after install. I've ended up having to max out the volume of the built in output device in order to achieve similar volume as before Sonarworks systemwide was installed, but this solution is not practical, as some applications sometimes default to the built-in output audio device and when this happens I get a blast high volume on my hears which is very dangerous. There must be a solution to this problem, but I couldn't find any. Apart from this problem, this product is very good and I have no other complaints.

i'm very happy with my product, but it would be nice if you include my headphone profile audio technica ath-50 which was discontinued a while ago. best regards

Add clickable/typable value for output gain. Hard to nudge it right to the desired value.

The plugin is excellent - helps me a lot. Systemwide is a bit of a pain as it often looses the audio output then I have to go into setting and reset it.

Sokat segít a mixing, mastering-ben! Gyorsabban elkészülök a keveréssel! Néha akadozik a zene lejátszó!

My room sounds great, it works really well. The only problem is that the system-wide is a bit buggy. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next version

It is too soon to give a real review. Set up was great, testing went great. I was using an old programmable EQ and an analyzer and was getting some wierd "high end stuff" so without that in the chain I think I am a lot better, but I won't know till I do a few more mixes

Sonar works as expected, i'am getting a flatter curve which is what i was looking for. It is relatively easy to use too. Switching between headphones and speakers works well. New features: i would like to see support for 2.2 then 5.x then 7.2.4 and so on.

I purchased Sonarworks with the calibration mic a few months back and am finally writing a review now. I think it's great. It did take some getting used to. I churn out lots of mixes and it took me a while to figure out how my mixes were translating to the real world after using sonarworks. I ended up using it with the tilt option engaged at 1 db favoring the low end. It just seemed that my mixes had a little too much down there because I was compensating for so much flatness. Once I figured that out I feel like my mixes translate better than ever. I use Yamaha HS8's as my mains and I have a pair at the studio and at home where I mix quite a bit too. Sonarworks has made the transition from real studio to home studio a breeze. It's way more accurate. I would give it 5 stars but I do have one complaint. I like to software monitor everything when tracking and if I run it in zero latency mode it's a bit of a resource hog and has caused some problems with CPU spikes in my system. If it were a bit leaner and I didn't have to worry about turning it off on bigger mixes I would be happy.

Sonarworks Reference has been a solid addition to my studio, I wish I had it before. My two sets of monitors and three headphones came to life. I am much more confident with what I hear. End of room resonances! Having the microphone with international shipping, if the packaging of the microphone was somewhat better, in a more protective way, I would easily give the system 5 stars. Just some sponges would hold the mic better protected. (When you shake the box, the microphone moves inside)

I purchased the System Reference 4 software and the reference mic. It is great, and the eq correction makes a significant difference. My only issue was a weird software bug during the measurement. Probably the speaker distance was not perfectly accurately measured, and when the last step was executed, the mic location on different spots could not be handled properly. It was like an infinite loop, the software never told that it identified the spot corrdctly.

Brilliant software. I do not like that it resets every time I start my computer so I have to constantly go through a lot of steps to choose the right audio driver. It should just be default to that and remember the settings. Besides that I love it and use it all the time!
