“The system is a bit awkward to set up, but the difference it makes to the sound of my monitors is pretty amazing. For the first time ever I’m actually happy with the sound of my monitors.”

“works as advertised, and the sound quality improvement is simply amazing. OTOH on the Mac app (at least) there's lots of room for improvement, UI and performance wise. It's bizarre that even when one disables True-fi in the applet the CPU consumption of the app doesn't get low 'enough' (which means that a good chunk of the performance hit of using True-fi is not from when it's doing its (again awesome) job but from a non optimized UI ...”

“I purchased this when on sale and has very much improved my HD650s.... The correction is not subtle and to my ears very worthwhile. I do wish it could be used natively with Roon and that creating my own EQs was a bit more self explanatory. Furthermore I would love an template for my Sennheiser IE 800s. Overall it's great software and I look forward to further updates. For reference I use for home listening and not studio work!”

“As a plugin, it works pretty well. I have some room treatments and use it at 80% linear phase. Standalone needs some work IMHO. With my Metric Halo ULN-8 it must be launched in an exact order and timing or I have to start again. Not the way to start the day. The work around is kind of a pain. I would like to see a high shelf instead of the hokey tilt which is kind of useless. I'm not too sure about the Listening Spot adjustment. It seems to be off a little so I don't use it at all (standalone and plugin).”

“The definition and frequency response on headphones is greatly improved. The one negative is that the speaker output is also affected by the sonarworks correction and needs to be turned off to maintain a correct response for the speakers.”
