Sonarworks offers an excellent tool for referencing my mixes in different environments and hearing it flat without having to switch speakers or headphones.

The software is excellent , its user freindly but was tricky to install due to running PT in rosetta but was eventually resolved. My only issue is the drop down don't have all of my presets and the main system indiscator don't display the preset loaded without opeing it. I see some room for improvment but the basic system is stable and does what its supoosed to do. They removed the tilt and bass sections that were in V 4 which should be added back to allow a customization to account for hearing loss in high frequency.

Great listing of products. However logging into the SoundID reference sucks sometimes. Also couldn't find all accepted headphones (for SoundID reference) easily on their website

My shopping experience was easy and straightforward . I’ve downloaded the demo that I liked than bought it during Black Friday half the price. I’m so very thankful toward Sonarworks for that nice price…

I think that you have a great idea and a really good product that is actually useful and not a gimmick. I would love to see more features and more integration with Universal audio products.

A trial version is available with plenty of time to test. The full version is easy to purchase but any package beyond the standard headphone SoundID Reference is very pricey. Updates are also conveniently installed. For some reason I have to select my output each time again after an update.

1. introducing personalized voices that are processed by uploading samples of my voice or of other members of my band. 2. incresing a little bit the quality of wav files

I love Sound ID, the only thing I would add is the option to select if we are using a Subwoofer (because I am).

After researching extensively all the in-ear virtual environments, and demoing them, I discovered sonar works virtual monitor system. After already owning the calibration software, this was a no brainer to demo. The clean visuals, no frills, all function interface was actually refreshing. By removing the noise of other products images and imitations and studio names, I felt like I could just get to work. And work it did. It also works with my specific brand of headphones (Blue Lola). My first mix in the headphones translated everywhere beautifully. I was sold. The enchiladas sale was also a welcome incentive. One star deducted not due to qualifying sound, but binaural calibration features like others are experimenting with. I would also love to see a mix box/mono speaker in the screen simulation. Things a clean, no fuss, great sounding plugin especially if you already own the calibration plugin…this is a no brainer. So pleased with purchase, support documentation, everything has been clean and easy to set me up for success.

Awesome for what it does - especially in a well treated room. The house curve of SoundID is very nice and after getting used to it, one could use it anywhere else, thanks to the high consistency in calibrations for both - monitors and headphones. Only complaint I have is that Sonarworks tries to upsell to Multichannel for 2.1 and 2.2 users, even though that's still stereo to me and also very common. It does not rectify the high price for SoundID multichannel and should be part of Reference for stereo applications.

Sonarworks has a very renomated history since I was studying audio engineering. It helps a lot people that needs to operate on audio in a non controlled space. The purchase experience was good, I did the trial period to extensively test it and then I decided to buy it.
