It was very easy to purchase ind install the software. I was not happy however when the latest upgrade took away some of the functionality.

Unfortunately, I'm really disappointed with my upgrade to Sound ID. Even with the new upgrade that was supposed to fix certain issues, they still persist. This eats into my production time and costs me time away from the important things in life, and money as I should have moved on to other projects in my backlog.

Systemwide calibration through standalone desktop soft is full of bugs. Despite years of complaining, some major problems - like SIDR not starting after computer power-saving mode and the inability to modify saved calibration targets - remain fully dealt with, and issues still persist. Offered workarounds would require in some instances, for example, user editing Windows registry files or allowing Sonarworks service to remote access user's computer via third-party software. In my opinion Sonarworks delegates problems to end-users which is plainly put rude, yet cost-effective for SW. When SoundID Reference works, it really does improve sound quality and seems to be very effective in managing sub-100Hz room modes. Sadly, other major shortcomings in the software drag the evaluation down.

We are currently investigating those issues and will implement fixes in the near future. We are always working hard to improve our user experience and make our product better. Soundwise Allright, bur i need på reboot the Sonarworks app EVERY TIME my Mac has gone into sleep/inactive mode. That happens at least three times a day, and after just 15 minutes of inactivity. Seriously annoying

I love your software. However I'm having more issues using it atm, than actually making music with it. I constantly lose signal and I have to assign the outputs again, everytime I use SoundID Reference. It would be nice if it would be more reliable and also if it wouldn't screw up the CPU usage. But other than that I really like it.

Hi, I'm disappointed because the sound system keeps dropping out. In my opinion, the app is not stable. I am using UAD Apollo HW. Jakub

I used to love it- but with all of the clicks and pops I find the new SoundID to be virtually unusable.

Upgraded from Reference Studio 4 to SoundID - bad idea! Nothing is working right, Measure always crashes, SoundID device always disappears. I wanna go back, can not recommend it, sorry.

Unfortunately I was not able to calibrate my 5.1.2 setup with the measuring software. It just got stuck. Hoping you can help or fix this problem. As a four year user I was so excited that multi channel was finally available, purchased the upgrade and then total let down.

I was forced to upgrade to Sound ID because reference 4 stopped working on my system. I didn’t want to buy sound ID because I didn’t need any of the new features. Sound ID removes itself from my audio devices every time the computer sleeps. The tech said that’s just the way it is and I have to live with it. Pretty annoyed by the whole situation as I need this software for my job.

The ReferenceID program works great, the set up was a little confusing but I eventually was able to figure it out. HOWEVER, there was an error with the install. It disabled chrome on my computer. Reinstalling chrome fixed that, but then after setting it up, I started getting a crackling noise when I tried to record with Cubase and then I realized that my UR816C Audio Interface driver was no longer an option and I could not get it to reload. Luckily I had set a restore point before installing ReferenceID so I used that and everything went back to normal except that RereneceID is still present as a plugin for cubase and it seems to work correctly now. I contacted Sonarworks about it but never heard anything back. That was almost a week ago. Until I hear back from Sonarworks I would not recommend anyone use their products. I planned on buying some new Adam reference monitors but since they seem to rely on Sonarworks I think I'm going to have to use a different set of monitors even.

I love the product and when it was working I was using it in my workflow every day. However, after updating to a new M1 Max machine the plugin no longer works in the latest version of Ableton Live 11. Am looking forward to an update so I can use it again.

Not very accurate... I use Audeze LCD X headphones and your plugin modeling is not translating well to my car, my MacBook pro, Bluetooth speakers, or my AirPods. My mixes sound better across all these devices when I simply don't use your plugin, which is why I'm rating you so low... If I'm doing something wrong please reach out to me and let me know.

pricing to upgrade is borderline unethical. initial customers of products deserve the biggest discount of over 75%. it feels like i am buying a product over and over and not just upgrading.

Had trouble getting the standalone application to work with my setup. Contacted Support and have a ticket that is still Open. There are issues with ASIO support and I've been directed to use the SoundID Reference plugin instead. Now experiencing mic/feedback issues with my setup. Have notified Support.

I bought Sonarworks ID upgrade from Sonarworks 4 but it won't show in my DAW. I contacted support about 4 days ago and not had a reply to fix the issue. Very frustrating!

Sonarworks still haven’t updated/calibrated to grado 325e, only 2 grado headphones are available. I have wrote several emails regarding this matter, and no response.
