Shopping experience is always the best, issues starts after that! Support centre has to be a little bit faster

The Apollo Monitor has not worked at all. When I try to activate it, the entire system is disabled and unusable. As such it has only proven to be an extreme waste of time and money. When I tried to get some support I received a massive load of tech information that was not even usable as a starting point as it was well beyond my and I would guess most users of the Sonarworks system.

For me Sonarworks SoundID Reference for headphones and the Apollo Add-on work as advertised. However, I would not give you a plug nickel for the product. I am a Pro Tools user, and this product does not play well with Pro Tools. Issues range from Pro Tools restarting after closing. Apollo control console crashing. Stand along app., launching on startup. Really big one, you must be logged in just to use the product, even the plugin. I ditched this product because it was a real pain to work with. When I upgraded my interface to a Apollo x gen 2. I was hoping the Apollo Add would be a great option. Does it work yes, but the software is still a hunk of junk.

I wouldn't recommend this product to anybody because it isn't available if you lose your internet connection. Are you on a deadline? Doesn't matter. Sonarworks will die at the worst times. Sonarworks discloses that their system fails if you go offline, but it's still a bummer because it will die at the worst times. Maybe Sonarworks could figure out a way to use an offline verification system like every other software company in the audio field did 15 years ago.

Big investment, sadly it now stops working with the AI disabled button blanked out in Studio One. I have perpetual license, and since the last upgrade it has failed, disappointed, hopefully sonarworks will fix this issue asap .

It's a okay plugin not what I thought it was It should have more ai styles of vocals to choose from in vocals. I can use these in rap or trap and other styles. Please update with a wide range of styles.

The vst do not works on my win11 cubase 14 / 13. I was obligated to install an older version. So it works but, when i reopen the session, the vst do not works and need to re-analysed. I still wait the message about the update like the answer i get. Thx

The idea is good and the way it's visually designed gives you that feeling of "ok, now that I activated it, at least I don't have to doubt my monitoring", which ideally has productive upsides (but also potential "masquerading" downsides, of course). It works really well on my headphones - and solala on my monitors in my untreated room. But I wouldn't use it, if it wasn't an improvement. Having said that: From a technical perspective it's the most annoying and unstable piece of software I ever had to endure. It constantly crashes in systemwide-mode or just completely sinks the whole DAW in plugin-mode. It also seems super ressource-demanding for an EQ and always makes a big deal of switching from the DAW to other stuff etc. My worst experience so far was when it completely erased my audio drivers (or rather basic audio functions?). But not in a "ok, I just gotta reinstall them"-way, but in a "great, now I have to spend my whole day in forums"-way. Just like that.

A little buggy still. This integration is something I requested way back when, so it's exciting to have this tool, however the deliivery is less than stellar. I've had to restart when the system hangs up on an otherwise rock solid system. I paid for the upgrade but not utilizing.

Positive points: - SoundID Reference for Headphones is an excellent product to have a clean listening experience while creating tracks in my Ableton live. - Easy to buy. - Easy to install and set up my studio headphones. Negative points: - Many older headphones are not covered (I have 4 headphones, 3 are not recognised by SoundID Reference for Headphones, which has quickly been confirmed by the support centre) - It creates havock in my normal listening outside of my DAW: the sound setting of my laptop systematically go to SoundID and I can't redirect it to my laptop speakers, earphones or audio interface. I regularly have to manually disconnect SoundID which is absolutely not convenient. I'm even considering removing the whole SoundID software from my computer.

just be warned you can only have one monitor profile. I have multiple sets of monitors and a monitor controller and was trying to set up my second pair kept running into an error got in touch with Sonarworks and they said that it's only capable of having one monitor so hopefully they fix that in the future

Not happy for two main reasons: - the profiles to compare with cars or computers are not accurate at all with or without my DT770 profile - SoundId ref makes my Cubase 13 Pro crash, and each time I loose my Control Room parameters
