“Able to upgrade two Vista machines at reasonable cost, so am happy”

“I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 on a laptop. The process of purchasing it was straightforward but I did have some problems installing it. Software Geeks did offer some guidance, but to be honest you can't expect too much for a £15 purchase. Anyway, I had to download and burn to DVD three times before installation was successful, but at the end of the day it did work and registered okay with Microsoft, so I'm a happy customer. Very good value, but just be persistent if it doesn't work out straightaway.”

“Once I ordered office 2010 it was downloaded within seconds. However, a message that it had not been activated was untrue, after help from a friend as I am new to windows 10, (which I find frustrating) I found the app thing where it was all the time. However, a very quick service, chat line was not working on Saturday.”

“I had a non genuine copy of windows 7(been had by previous vendor on internet)so I used software geeks to replace with genuine disc and product key which was sent with the installation disc and all for only £29.99 excellent fast delivery ,everything went down first time easily,installation was flawless and updates are now all installed be that it took a couple of days but that is microsoft update time(say no more)checked activation for genuine which was positive,so everything is now running normal ,great service from software geeks,Windows 7 Professional 32 Bit and all for £29.99 excellent ,really pleased will use the Geeks again for sure.”

“Download was quite quick, ordering was simple. However, there is a problem with using Click-toRun. It is not trivial to make, say, Outlook the default email application. KB982431 applies.”

“Looks OK so far. It was inexpensive to buy and so far has not let me down, although it took me two days to finally download it. It seems to be working fine and I have been able to load up my gmail accounts correctly (which is something I could not do last year). Thank you.”

“Ok so I was a bit dubious - £14.99 for Win7 Pro seamed too good to be true. License and key were emailed through within minutes. The rating would be a 5 but unfortunately the download link was either down or running painfully slow. I tried the key on the official Microsoft pages that informed me the key was for a pre-installed oem version so I couldn't download from there but found the DVD iso elsewhere and OS was installed, running and activated. Am already considering another purchase.”
