“I placed the order online, which was straight-forward, but the confirmation email didn't arrive (neither inbox or junk). After a couple of days, I used the Live Chat to chase up what had happened. I received a quick and helpful responsive, the suggestion was that hotmail can reject auto-generated HTML emails (or something). The email was resent as pdf this time and arrived ok. However, I was then also advised of a delay with supply of the product (water filters) although nothing had been shown on the website, no timescale was given (luckily it was not urgent). Strangely the filters were then delivered three days later. So, overall a reasonable outcome but a bit of a mixed experience.”

Hi Charles Thank you for the review. We have had many problems with stock deliveries arriving late and dates changing without notice. I'm sorry if this caused some confusion. The problem with Hotmail blocking our email, I'm afraid is out of our control. However, its great to see our Customer Service staff were able to think of a solution and send you a plain PDF version that Hotmail didnt block!

“Hi I please the order on 15 of July and never received when I called I have been told that it’s coming from abroad. This isn’t a great service. Shame I had to cancel and I have to wait for my money 30 days. What a service.”

Hi Veton The item you ordered was on a slight manufacturing delay and the website did show the item was not in stock at the point you placed the order. However, regrettably the Abode delivery was delayed and the expected arrival date moved without any notice. We appreciate this was frustrating but I'm afraid this was something outside our control. You then decided to cancel your order and a full refund was completed within just 2 days. We have up to 30 days to complete a refund but the time taken varies and we regularly complete refunds much faster (as in your case). We hope this explains the situation a little clearer and we apologies for any inconvenience we may have caused.

“Placed order for sink and delivered within few days all very good. Only gripe is account section of website is quite limited. I needed to change my order but this is not possible on website and replacement sink was never shown, only original one and no updates are shown (although I did get email after ringing them to change it). Surely it would make more sense to provide all of this information on website as you're left in the dark with what's going on, it shows only the initial order and you cannot do anything with it. Would recommend as rest of experience good and sink is excellent quality. As footnote the email review response I was sent was for the original sink not the one I received.”

“Already posted a great review on TrustPilot. Really happy with both the taps & the sink & the service. Excellent quality, fast delivery & on the one occasion I had to call them, they answered straight away & were really helpful, unlike some well-known bathroom firms who are still using the "well, Covid ..." excuse. Would recommend & we're already planning to use them again.”

“Easy to get through to to answer query on product. Arranged for small truck for delivery due to our narrow country road. Item delivered on time. All day delivery window given. Would have rated 5 stars if a call from driver 1 hour before expected delivery time was provided.”

“We bought a double bowl kitchen sink and subsequently a monobloc tap. Both items arrived securely packaged and within a few days of ordering. The tap was cheaper than the price listed on the manufacturers website. Very pleased ..... would use this company again.”
