“Excellent product, which Simple Handrails made to my required dimensions. Very good service from Lorna in the Sales Office. I needed a smart handrail alongside the steps on my driveway. I used a Simple Handrails brushed stainless tube (5.3 metres long) fixed to treated 100 * 100 cedar wood posts at 1.1 metre height. Posts sunk 0.6 metres into concrete. LED solar-powered lights fitted to the top of each pole, for about £15 each. Overall, EXCELLENT SERVICE and PRODUCT. Car not included ....”

“I purchased two 120mm handrails, the quality was very good, but one handrail had incorrect spacing of the holes for the brackets, i.e. the brackets require the holes to be 40mm apart, but the threaded holes in the handrail were 47mm apart, so only one bolt and some contact adhesive were used.”

“Lorna and her colleagues were very helpful in getting me the information I needed to make my order. The components were built and prepared well. So I’m very happy with all of that. We did have some problems with shipping though. Most items turned up on time. The handrail itself, came via a different shipping company – Tuffnells. All day long Tuffnells told me that the item would be delivered by 6pm. Even five minutes before they told me the same thing. The delivery never came, which was very frustrating. I had to pick it up myself from their depot the next day.”

“Not fitted yet but product looks very good, very quick delivery and exceedingly well protected. Photos to follow. However, small dome headed screws supplied to fix brackets to rail instead of the correct larger diameter countersunk screws.”

Hi Mike, Thank you for your review. Good or bad it is good for customer feedback. I would like to stress that you refused this delivery as you 'gave up' with our delivery partner. Your handrail would of been delivered on the 6th working day had you not refused it. Our office staff spent a lot of time liaising with you and trying to sort out the issues and we feel like we did everything we could to help you, so this review (and the other three reviews that you left across other platforms we feel are slightly unfair. “Excellent handrail delivered promptly and what I thought was a good price. Was very pleased with the weight and strength of the brackets. Only small complaint, if you are going to send rawl plugs can send something like Fischer. The ones supplied went straight in the bin.”

“Not had the handrail delivered yet but the communication has been poor and the delivery has been marked as completed even though it hasn't been delivered yet... UPDATE: Now been delivered and a couple of points on the product: - Missing a few screws (plastic end cap ones), - The wood was quite warped so took a fair amount of manhandling to get on (I kept it flat after it was delivered so it wasn't how I was storing it) - The end caps are not finished very well, one was fine but the other was not fully finished - The end caps needed adhesive to stay on, which was not described in the instructions so I'm not sure if that's expected The finished article looks good but was a real pain to fit with regular annoyances”

“The staff were very friendly, helpful and with loads of advice. The product arrived promptly by DHL carrier. Given we had two Public holidays in two weeks it was still delivered promptly. Great communication at each step.”

“Our 2nd purchase from this company for external handrails, the product is of excellent quality, we wanted them cut to size so ordered over the phone, it really could not have been easier, customer service advisors are very helpful, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable about their products, delivery was also quick and efficient. can't fault this company, would definitely recommend.”
