There was no instructions with the product, the plastic fittings which joined the 2 poles together were very flimsy when fitted with the metal joining flang. Also the 2 hardwood poles were not straight, they were severely bent. Over all poor product for the price my customer paid

Unluckily I thought I was buying a handrail that was not what I got you sent my I rail less than a metre when I needed on 3.5 metres. Can't say much more than that

I only give 1 star wouldn't give that if i had choice very poor service they say q2 days turn around then takes over 4 weeks then deliver only part so cannot fit sorry is not good enougth cist me time and one would not recommend

Hi Terry, I am sorry that you have had to wait for your laminated glass. We do state when you order that laminated glass does have a longer lead time due to the lengthy manufacturing process, however your steel would be delivered within the 12 working days specified, which was delivered within the 12 working days. We did notify you that a panel of glass would be missing fom your delivery due to damage when loading, again I am sorry about this and it will be out for delivery to you on Thursday. We have updated you at every stage of your order and I am saddened that you feel this way. When you placed the order we confirmed all lead times with you and explained that laminated glass does take longer. Also due to your location our glass plant only go to you on one day of the week. I am hoping that everything has gone well with the rest of your order and if you do need any further assistance please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will do our best to help you. The basic issue is that they are despatching premium products via their courier, Tuffnells, who are a total nightmare. This is NO way to treat customers.

Hi Mike, Thank you for your review. Good or bad it is good for customer feedback. I would like to stress that you refused this delivery as you 'gave up' with our delivery partner. Your handrail would of been delivered on the 6th working day had you not refused it. Our office staff spent a lot of time liaising with you and trying to sort out the issues and we feel like we did everything we could to help you, so this review (and the other three reviews that you left across other platforms we feel are slightly unfair. I ordered from this company and had numerous troubles with their logistics, firstly being told handrails were missing in logistics warehouse and they’d try find them and deliver next day, nothing came of it.. had rung numerous times and they finally turned up following week.. Glass was another issue in itself, didn’t turn up when they said they did, tried charging £250 restocking fee “wavered through goodwill” even though it was a problem caused by the company in any case. A panel came damaged after and had to chase to get replacement, if you want nothing bud troubles this is the company to go for 👍 A* for effort and no fulfilment

Hi Joe, The trouble with your deliveries stems from you missing a street name off the order. 3 different couriers had issues as you missed Rock Villa Lane when filling the online order out. You also rearranged your own delivery with DHL and delayed it yourself for a week. The glass again with the missing information off the order the driver went to Beachley Road as per your online order. The driver called you a hour before he was due to arrive to say he was on his way. No one was at the property and you still failed to say the correct street name. You have also failed to mention that even with the delays (not caused by us) that the whole balustrade system was delivered in 14 working days. This includes rescheduling and redelivering your glass. Which we could only do after you gave us the right address. You are correct we paid the £250 redelivery charge, and we have also given you £150 as a good will gesture. You have also failed to mention that you have verbally abused our staff, and threatening legal action against us. We are small family run business with over 45 thousand happy customers backed up by our reviews platform. Hi Ann, We are looking into this for you ASAP. The rail was taken from us last Monday and should of been delivered last Tuesday. You should of also had full tracking notifications from the courier with delivery details. We will come back to you via email in the next hour. Sorry again for the rail not being delivered. We know the couriers in some areas of the UK have backlogs due to the royal mail strikes/ black friday sales. SimpleHandrails.co.uk

The only thing good I can say is that delivery was quick and the white oak rails are a nice colour although each half do vary both in colour and grain . My main gripe are the fittings they are appalling. Screws for the rail brackets are too short and have very soft heads. The screws supplied for the plugs to go into the wall are too long for the raw plugs.And the suggested drill size is incorrect. Lastly in my opinion unless you absolutely need 2 sections try and use one length and get someone to assist when fitting as the joining of two lengths is reliant on a piece of plastic that is only a few cms in length .

UNFORTUNATELY I WAS OBLIGED TO REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE CONSIGNMENT AS THE PACKAGING HAD CLEARLY BEEN STEPPED ON (FOOTMARKS ALL OVER CARDBOARD PACKAGING ) AND THE EDGES OF THE PACKAGING WERE DAMAGE. bECAUSE IT WAS GLASS I COULD NOT RISK IT BEING CRACKED.

Hi Margaret, Thank you for your review. The glass cardboard would have been stood on during the wrapping process to ensure it would have arrived in perfect condition which it would have been under the cardboard. Unfortunately, this is just a standard process the glass goes through to get wrapped. I hope this helps explain the situation. Placed an order on 28th October and order still not here! Emailed company to br advised it would be with me by last Friday but still nothing. Now being asked for a review. So far, no good at all. Paid for goods 2 weeks ago, no product and no updates. Poor poor poor.

# WAITED IN ALL AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS PER SIMPLE HANDRAILS HAULIERS ( TRENNELS ) WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND NOTHING WAS DELIVERED AND NO NOTICE OF FAILURE TO DELIVER WAS ADVISED ON THE DAY. # WHAT A WASTE OF OPPORTUNITY TIME TO ACHIEVE OTHER TASKS. # NOT DEPENDABLE ? CERTAINLY NOT IN THIS CASE.

Hi Des, This review is one that baffles us. The whole country is experiencing massive issues with deliveries. However Tuffnells deliver 8am until 5pm, there are no timed options. It looks like they tried to deliver your parcel on the morning. They tried to deliver on your 4th working day from ordering. As a company we advertise up to 9 working days as per your invoice. Wrong glass delivered when correct brought out driver refused to unload saying its down to the customer to lift off of the truck.. Very disappointed.

Very poor quality. Dents and sharp points. Had to sand down to remove all sharp edges. Not good for a hand rail.

Hi John, You ordered on the 24th April and it was delivered on the 4th May. This was 6 working days? We advertise up to 8 working days and this was on your invoice and emailed to you at the time of purchase. As a company we haven't done anything wrong here and delivered on time/ early.
