“Considering the influx of a large number of military personnel and the speed of the market at the moment i feel my property was undervalued. My reason for this is the alternatives on the market available are not of the same quality or interior size and have all been valued considerably higher”

“Surveyor turned up in good time. Wore a face covering without having to be asked. I had a number of questions which were all answered in plain English, which for me was extremely helpful. I have already recommended Shepherds to a friend who is about sell his house.”

“Timely response, did a professional job. Home report came back with a valuation that I felt was too low. I appealed it, explained my reasons, and they took it on board and modified the valuation. The eventual outcome (multiple offers) showed this was the right thing for them to have done. In general, I was quite happy and would recommend them.”

“We are forced by legislation to have a home report survey completed before we can sell our own property. The surveyor had no personal grudge, and was just doing his job, but such nonesense as dismissing the fact that the building was fully insulated as he could'nt see it is rediculous. The fact that the survey then sets the selling price is also dictatorial. I own my property outright and should be able to sell it for any amoiunt I choose, but no I have to sell it for the low price set by the survey, as the inspector does not like converted properties. In short, surveyor not co-operative or helpful. Home report not worth the paper it's printed on.”

“I have to agree with the last review. How Edward Shepherd still has a license to act as a surveyor is beyond me! I had a full building survey, the sellers said he finished the survey in 40 minutes, unbelievable! When the survey arrived I thought it was a joke, he missed things that a twelve year old would have seen, totally incompetent! My review is 100% genuine, my advice is; If you don’t want to spend thousands of pounds putting things right which Shepherd’s surveys have missed, get a genuine surveyor and pay a little more! It will be well worth it! I want to give a minus rating but the review site does make provision for that!”

“Reviews completed by Stevie Wonder!! Nothing but problems in the house I bought after Shepherd's CS completed the home report. They were either given a back hander to say everything was fine or are generally just bad at what they do.”
