“Customer Service was amazing. Explained things in easy terms instead of all the usual jargon nobody gets. Had a 10 year plan with them and just taken out another one and reinvested what I had originally saved with them. Got 2 gift cards for re-using and saving with them. Would 💯 recommend.”

“Excellent, personable and professional customer service. No hard sell but clear information about Sheffield Mutual's interest rates and potential bonuses on their bonds. Their current best rate is a 4.1% bond which is a fixed rate for 3 years. I was very happy to sign up. I love all the mutuals, cooperatives and building societies in my country. They are the very opposite of ruthless money-grabbers. Not only is this a great rate but, after a year of having the bond, I become eligible for a £50 dental (or eyesight, was it?) voucher. Thank you, Sheffield Mutual.”

“Excellent service from Emily today, she guided me easily through the process of taking out another tax exempt policy as mine has matured. It was easy to do with fabulous customer service and I even got a £50 gift card to boot! Question, What could be better?...Answer, nothing!...Other businesses need to take a leaf of Sheffield Mutual's book as their customer service is great, I highly recommend them to anyone looking to take out any financial products in the future. I've been a customer for years and will continue to be. Thanks Emily and Sheffield Mutual.”

“I rang SMFS to open a new tax exempt savings plan after my previous one had matured. I spoke to Emily who guided me smoothly through the process and answered all of my questions quickly and easily. She was professional and efficient, but also friendly and funny, which made the call much less of a chore than it seems to be when you call other financial institutions! It was all done without a hitch and I await my new plan and lovely £50 gift card! I have been with SMFS for many years and cant recommend them highly enough. Always top customer service and products. Keep up the good work!”
