“I was especially not satisfied with the amount of time I have to wait to receive my shed. After placing the order i then received an email to let me know i had to wait 6-7 weeks for delivery. Considering i have special needs for the shed i will now have a long wait”

“Ordered last Wednesday with a delivery time it says of 5-7 working days. I’ve still not been contacted the following Tuesday!! No email no phone call so I tried to ring, after being on hold for 25 minutes and getting to number 1 in the queue it told me there was no one available to answer the phone and to fill in the online form. Useless. And still can’t get hold of them today”

“Tried to get though on phone to order a shed base to go with already ordered shed it took 40 minutes to get though As I was cut off 4 times Still not received email from the man fitting the base to arrange time to fit before shed arrives”

“Online order service was great, communication fab. Product is not great. Low quality material used, windows are plastic, instructions are inadequate. Wood used is poor quality and inconsistent colour. Best bit of the shed are the doors, which are good quality. This was put together by an fencing contractor who has many years experience. I would not buy this product again!”

“Had my shed delivered today, the shed door arrived damaged! We’ve painted it anyway, we needed to get the shed up today. several pieces missing for the roof and even a pane of glass for one of the windows. We’ve had to go to B&Q for the extra wood, don’t know where I’ll get the pane of glass from. I’m very disappointed”

“Simple to order and easy to follow can’t review any more not been delivered yet please send again in weeks time, summer house delivered as per schedule given three hour window which was spot on but as for quality of summer house very disappointed workmanship and quality of timber used very poor”

“Although I continued to order from Sheds.co.uk I was very unsatisfied with their customer service. I had emailed twice regarding separate questions and got no response. However the range of size and style options led me to the product that was right for me. I am hoping the after sales team is far better.”

“This was a very unsatisfactory online shopping experience, from delivery times which turned out to be much longer than advertised, to difficulties getting any sensible, sympathetic response from the help department, to delays (from 24th June to 15th July) in getting money refunded which they insisted was being done according to their "terms and conditions". Not recommended.”

“Order process straight forward. Delivery process less so. No call to book date and time. Chased by email. Reply confirmed delivery date but did not arrive. Still no goods so can’t review any further!!”

“Shed was not the quality expected. An error was made in ordering the accessories by the Company which had to be rectified. Ordering a replacement for a faulty part was made unacceptably difficult with no offer to help or expedite the process.”

“Ordered my summer house on sheds. Co.uk plus installation, Then paid to sixty,when booking my delivery, was told they don't install orders,so I am now looking to find out who to call,Very confusing when no one tells you after you have paid,Mr Armstrong”

“There is nowhere on the website which says that this product will arrive in pieces! Nowhere does it say you will have to construct the arbour from flat-pack yourself, or that the sections are not even pre-drilled! Drilling will be required etc!! The edges of the wood are rough, it is extremely poorly finished and all in all, very disappointing. We shall not be ordering anything from you again.”

“Delivery went well... Then I started noticing stuff, screws not put in properly, split wood, damaged wood, mineral felt damaged, really not good and it's not put together yet. I have to undo the screws that have damaged the product refit and fill holes with wood glue. Pretty poor quality tbh. Waiting for someone to get back to me after filling in the raise a complaint ticket thing.”

“Delivery was completely chaotic, with poor communication - I had absolutely no idea what was happening, or when I might expect delivery. I made numerous phone calls to try and find out. I'm still waiting for Sheds customer services to return my most recent call and tell me what's happening... Fortunately my log store turned up today, with no prior notification and several days later than anticipated. The build was easy (I did it on my own) but you need power tools. It seems a nice product, and is a good fit for its allocated space. However, I wouldn't use this company again, because of the poor communication, particularly when I was running into problems with the delivery.”

“Not yet received garden Arbour. So cant comment on quality. But for a company that says it prides itself on customer service, the delivery times are very vague. I think I have received a delivery notification from one of their partners and am assuming that the item is scheduled for delivery. But no contact or time slot. Gone are the days when you should have to wait in all day and hope that your delivery arrives.”

“I haven't had my shed erected yet so I can't comment on the quality but I wasn't impressed with the delivery. I received a detailed email the day after I'd made the order saying that I would receive a further email the day before the delivery, which I didn't, so it was only by chance that I was in to accept the delivery. The shed panels were nailed together and placed at the front of my house. As a pensioner with mobility problems it was impossible for me to move the panels on my own through my back gate so they would not get stolen but the driver would not help me with this. Therefore, I had to find someone on the day of delivery and pay them to come and move the shed panels to a safe place. On this basis alone I would not purchase from this company again.”

“The website and the ease of finding what you need is very good. Less praiseworthy is that after you place an order (and my particular one includes fitting) you get contacted from a third party about booking a delivery. There is no engagement between this third party company and Sheds.co.uk in relation to dates the installer is available so, if you are not careful, you could be left with your products left on your kerbside (Mercia - the delivery company involved - are specific on this) for anything up to 14 days until an installer then comes along to complete the order. The vast majority of people who place an order for a purchase and install would, I'm certain, want the entire thing taken care of as a single transaction with full ownership for the service being taken by Sheds.co.uk, liaising, as necessary, with any third parties they wish to engage, without the end customer having to get involved in the timetable of events.”
