“The delivery was speedy and communication was great. Unfortunately, the roof felt was missing but they promptly replied to my online request for it to be shipped. No problems at all. We bought a small 5x3 shed which is generally a budget option. Some panels were a bit wonky but it assembled fine with a bit of improvisation. It was nice that they supplied a large pack of screws with plenty spare to build it out. It looks great and is going to do its job nicely!”

“The delivery of the Adley apex shed was well communicated and ontime however the quality of the shed is very poor with the door being too big for the opening, the windows being too small for the apperture and the floor bending all over the place just with a 65kg adult standing on it.”

“Ordering was quick and easy, delivery prompt with very helpful driver. Upon unpacking I was disappointed that the instructions were only accessed online - this made it really hard to follow on a phone screen throughout the build process. Now the shed is built we’re very pleased with it but the process would have been much better with specific instructions for my exact shed size and type and on paper!”

“Good range of sheds and easy to order and select a day for delivery. The finished shed is lovely except for wonky doors. Also one of the shed panels was delivered in an absolutely filthy state. It looked like the floor of the penguin area at a zoo, you know? So I had to clean that off before anything. The delivery experiance was dissapointing. The slot was communicated a few days in advance, which was great, however I received an email at 4:30 in the morning of the delivery with an altered slot, so the delivery arrived before I was even awake. The driver (who to be fair is probably overloaded with deliveries) didn't ring the door bell and just left the shed parts in the front garden, when I would have liked them to take it round to the back garden. I don't live in the kind of area where you can just leave stuff in the front garden. Luckily I noticed it sitting there, whilst contemplating changing out of my pjamas, and nothing was nicked.”

“Don’t like writing a bad review but looked everywhere for a particular bird table and went to checkout and paid and heard nothing for a few days! I contacted them to find out when my delivery would be and was told item was out of stock and I would be refunded. Very disappointing as it was a birthday gift and time was wasted!”

“Good prove for the size of the shed. Easy to order online. However I didn’t get a notification telling me when it would be delivered. Luckily I was in when the truck turned up. No assembly instructions provided Rusty door fixings as per image.”

“Am pleased with the quality of the storage shed but your instructions as to how to put together as awful, they are not detailed enough and confusing, the tacks provided.to attach the felt are not long enough and whole process has needed some improvisation which Is very frustrating especially as the shed cost £250, would just not have been expected it!.”

“The delivery was on time and the driver was very nice and helpful. I had ordered a 10 x 6 HOLT shed with the pressure treated base. There were instructions only for the shed not the base, which seems fine but there were a random assortment of timbers and after an hour of tetrus I discovered I had 6 extra pieces (which is fine but not when you think they should be part of the build). I asked for instruction from their sales team and the response was check your email for instructions - not very helpful. The shed build itself was easy though a few parts needed modifying before they fit”

“I ordered a shed from the website on May 5th. The ordering process was good, as was the customisation selection. It's now May 11th, I've not heard anything since and the website has been down for maintenance for at least three days now. All told I'm not really sure what to think - if the site comes back up and communication around delivery etc starts then my review will head towards 5 stars. If the silence continues it might well drop to 2 or 1.”

“We bought a Holt potting shed, the quality was terrible: rusty door hinges, rusty nails, cracked panels, large gaps between boards and the worst was different height panels which meant it was impossible to put together. BE WARNED. However customer service Ben arranged collection and refund without fuss. Hence 3 stars due to his professional response.”

“The shed arrived on the day expected, albeit outside the time slot; which wasn't a problem. It was packed on a small pallet and was secure. The driver was able to put it close to the shed site with his forklift. Whilst the quality of the timbers supplied was of expected quality, the product is let down by the factory based assembly of the shed panels. The biggest issue being that the shiplap was nailed to its frame whilst wet. It was also not tightly pulled together during assembly. Evident by a variety of different sized gaps at the edges of the shiplap, where no gaps should be. The consequence of this is that, after 4 or 5 days of hot weather, the shiplap has shrunk and the gaps have worsened to the extent that, on some panels, the boards no longer offer protection to rain penetration. The roof panels were also poorly constructed, with gaps and differing lengths of shiplap used. This presented gaps where the clout nails had nowhere to secure to. I had to re-lay the felt to ensure the felt edges were together across and, in the centre of, an uninterrupted run of shiplap. The floor panel constriction was similar, but using 18mm sawn timber planks. There were many gaps between the cut planks and between the floor sections because there was no consistency in their length. Also one of the pre-constructed sections (there were 3 ; 2ft, 3ft and 4ft) was over 20mm longer than the others but, I suppose, better than being short. I cut it to length. There were too many instances to detail all that was wrong with the factory based pre-fabrication. I had expected better quality factory assembly, hoping that jigs would be used and that floor and roof planks would be cut to the same length before nailing to the frames. This was not so. The hardware pack was missing the 100mm screws identified in the instructions. I had some of my own to complete assembly and advised the company via email. I never got an acknowledgement or apology. The roll of roof felt was damage making about 2 metres unusable but, to give credit, the felt roll was much longer than needed. The Website also showed images of the shed with 2 windows. My shed has only one. I'm assuming there were variants available and I have failed to specify the correct variant. In summary. An easy to navigate website with plenty of images and payment was simple. Delivery was on the date promised and the compact packaging of the components meant the shed could be wheeled close to the assembly site. The timber quality was of a standard I would have bought had I decided to build from scratch. The price of the shed bought was not much more than the retail cost of timber and delivery. This was the biggest reason for going for a pre-fabricated shed. The disappointing part of the service was the in-factory construction. Little attention to consistency of cut timber lengths and poor quality assembly of the different panels particularly the shiplap panels meaning shrinkage will mean problems in the future. I've been as comprehensive in my review as I can. Overall, I have a big, functional and usable shed although I think I will need to attend to problems caused by the shiplap panel boards not being properly pushed tight together.”

“the shed we received had a damaged back panel, no response was received to our email about it. It also had a completely broken edging strip. we had to make-do and mend on the day we had to build it. not impressed with after sales service. also the ground weed liner was too small for the shed size, again we had to add our own to make it fit.”
