“I have some negative comments regarding the instructions for the erection of your 8 X 6 overlap shed ! Regarding the size of a base for the shed, the instructions state “ the base should be slightly smaller than the external measurement of the building “ I followed these instructions and used the measurements stated in the supplied pamphlet, to build my base, only to find that when I laid the shed floor on the base it was nearly 100 mm to wide !! Length- Width Shed; 2414 X 1905 mm Base; 2350 X 1753 mm Diff; 0064 X 0152 mm Therefore, I had to take up half the base I had constructed and cut down the width, which was a complete pain in the arse as you can imagine ! What your instructions should actually state is, make the base slightly smaller than the shed floor dimensions, as having now built the shed on my revised dimensions, the base is still to big, and the shed cladding does NOT over hang the base for water run off !! The transportation blocks were also a pain in the arse to remove, as I had to use a crow bar to lever them off, particularly when they had three bloody nails in them, and risked damaging the timber on the shed !! The nails in the door, were placed nearly exactly where the furthest hole from the hinge for the bracket, were where I needed to place the screw. As you can appreciate from my comments above, I am not completely satisfied with this purchase !! and particularly the supplied instructions for the base ! Please note, I was not put on this earth to be a bloody typist, and I expect some feedback from your offices, and some form of compensation would be in order.”

“Panels were constructed poorly, gaps between frame pieces in many places. One side panel arrived damaged (the part the roof sits on). Entire set of missing screws from pack. I would not recommend buying from a company that offers such a high priced item with such low quality build and parts missing.”

“No idea what the shed is like, still in its box. It arrived unannounced, no "delivery portal", no email or text message. As for assembly, still waiting for that had to ring them to ask to set a date. That is a week away. On top of that, I found out later that there was a voucher worth £40 off on that, why not just offer the discount? I just hope the apex shed is ok, it is very light. The plastic must be extremely thin. Will it need a padlock? A thief could cut their way in. :-(”

“Purchase was easy enough on-line but found the after sales service poor with having to do the chasing to arrange installation. I found one the operatives to be down right rude & ignorant and was on the point of cancelling my order. I spoke with another operative the day after who sorted installation but I am still waiting for the confirmation e-mail. I wouldn’t recommend sheds.co.uk based on my experience of after sales.”

“I ordered a shed with intsallation. It took weeks to arrive and more weeks for anyone to install it. By the time the shed was actually assembled by a Sheds.co.uk installer, the shed structure had warped making the door difficult to use and the whole structure suseptible to water leakage. This last week has been rainy and the shed is now damp on the inside. This is a shame because the service of buying a shed with installation is really desirable; my experience, however, has put me off ever doing this again.”

“I placed a order two weeks ago , I have tried calling the office 3 times and been cut off three times still no shed or new news as to when my shed will arrive.”

“The shed base was too big. No overlap allowed. The doors only just join when closed. There were holes in the wood due to knots not really idea for a shed.many measurements were just slightly out so construction was not straight forward.”

“Very tiresome booking delivery. Why could it not be done on the telephone in the first place? You had the post code wrong and absurd pointless questions about whether I am a robot .”

“Good product. But very poor delivery, incorrect parts sent, then mixed messages about collecting the wrong parts. Eventually a second lot of correct parts delivered by mistake.”

“Ordered two mower sheds. Should have been delivered in four packages but only three arrived. A week later I am still trying to get the missing roof and sides delivered. The sheds are flimsy and I don’t think they will last. The doors do not fasten properly, despite rehanging them. I regret making the purchase.”

“ordered a furniture cover from the website, got told it was out for delivery, not delivered. On enquiring I got told it was out of stock, although it said in stock on line. Told I would have to wait until November. Asked for a refund to be told 5 days, although they managed to process my initial payment for an out of stock item the same day. Not impressed.”

“Overall, not a good experience. First, the information desk was neither efficient or helpful when telephoned, prior to ordering on-line. Secondly, we were disappointed that the delivery team dumped the pack inconveniently on our driveway (without first coming to the door to check where to place it). Thirdly, the arbour sections are not pre-drilled, which is unhelpful and, frankly, shoddy.”

“Delivery was on time and competitive price.. really poor quality !!! Bad wood and already broken panels in many places where they have screwed!!! Many pieces of wood are not straight and the nails they have put was not thru the wood in many areas!!! Now I am having a real hard time to fix it as the woods are not straight or broken in many places!!floor base is really thin !! Many side panels are out from nail and driver advised to screw it! Thank you , I knew it!Overall I am not happy at all with the product quality! I wish I had bought it from somewhere else and pay another £20 or 30 extra!! Btw driver was helpful to get me the shed thru my property!!”

“Ordering easy,shed looks good.however!😥not enough correspondence on delivery date and approximate time,many people cannot be told it will be delivered within the next 5 days and be expected to be at home without warning too receive delivery.Also construction details not easy to understand or helpful in construction”

“Product and price fine but delivery nightmare- promised by Friday 2 days after purchase and arrived 4 working days late having waited in for two days when delivery supposed to have been scheduled. Finally told in an e mail times at 12 noon that I had signed for it at 18.00 hours the same day!!! It actually arrived on that day at c. 09.30 and was marked "overnight delivery so mu guess is that it had not been dispatched by you, when promised,and I waited in for 2-3 days for a delivery which had not been shipped. I will not use Sheds Ltd again or its group of companies.”
