“We contacted your customer help desk with a querie about the garden furniture we intended to buy. Your customer representative said he would phone back with the answer to our querie. That never happened. We decided to order anyway and in the meantime the price of the items we wanted to buy had gone up by £30. So not very happy but could not find an alternative supplier.”

“Hi I’v had a lot of issues trying to purchase my summer house I first called on the 25th and spoke to a gentleman he took my number and someone was going to call me back, no one did. I then called again on the 31st on three occasions but no answer I then spoke to Jenny who was very helpful, she told me to book on line which I tried to do on the credit system that was a failure as l clicked on the interest free 12 months but nothing happened and I kept going round in circles!!!! Eventually I spoke to James Letterese who was very helpful and we managed to sort out my order. I understand you must be very busy but to honest the whole procedure was a trial thank you Gareth Morgan”

“Was quite disappointed the summer house I bought I called to buy and said I just have to go back to see if can afford it.. Next day price hiked up £150 , asked if they could stick to original price. Completely rude customer service said a flat no. Without a care of sale during sale or after. Advertised as free delivery , then when get through the process it adds another £65 . I certainly hope the product is better that the sales and customer service.”

“Not very impressed. The delivery was left in the front garden without even a knock at the door. The quality of the shed was much lower than expected. The doors were so uneven we had to get a saw to the top of both so there were gaps between the door & the frame and the side panels that the doors butt up to are also uneven meaning there are large gaps at points soI have had to pin strips inside to stop too much water getting in when it rains. Definitely not the quality I was expecting for the price.”

“Purcahsed the Adley 6' x 8' Pressure Treated Double Door Shiplap Apex Shed on line. Order process great, delivery service great. Quality of shed POOR. The Perspex Window is barely thicker than a piece of paper that will need replaced. The shed itself is already leaking (after 4 days) as the finish is terrible (slats not all same length allowing large gaps for water to get in) I have emailed Sheds.co.uk direct along with images and am awaiting there feedback.”

“Delivery worked well and on the whole the shed is ok for the money. BUT The timber base timbers were all different lengths so I had to cut them to the correct size, and the ridge bar to support the roof was broken so i had to buy a replacement (Sunday afternoon, shed 3/4 built, not going to wait a week for them to send out a replacement). I contacted their customer services who offered to refund the price I paid for replacement ridge bar (a few quid) but did not apologise for the inconvenience faced. Pretty poor really!”

“The company itself seems very good, The shed I ordered, 10x8 dutch barn is very good in the looks but the construction of the panels is not very good. The screw package is not adequate as the length of the screws are too short and the thickness of the screws are too thin and do not bight into the wood to make a good fixing. I had to use my own screws. I also had to cut the width of the doors down to make them fit the opening of the shed.”

“I received half of the Apex kit and Half of the Pent kit. It's now been 3 months and I'm still waiting for the felt. No offers of compensation for all the inconvenience and the fact I've been without a shed through the winter. Woodlands the supplier seem unable to follow the load sheet.”

“Very poor quality timber - looks like it was sawn with a bread knife! Nails sticking out ready to cut fingers. I think it will need a bit of reinforcing.”

“We bought a bike shed and a shiplap shed. Poor build quality, had to make adjustments to the doors to make them fit. Some parts arrived soaked through and with mould growing on them. Poor customer service who kept referring us on to different companies and therefore no resolution of the problem was made. 6 months on, shed is fully painted (from day 1) and positioned correctly as instructed but lots of water seeping through between the shiplap when the weather is very bad. Wouldn't recommend or buy again unfortunately.”

“Having purchased the shed from their website, I had to chase them on two occasions regarding when it would be installed. They missed the first date, but installed it later - but only had the material to do half of the roof. To their credit, they sent the remaining roofing felt to my house in double-quick time, but that was nearly six months ago. Roof is now water-logged, and they've now gone radio silent when I try and find out when they're going to finish the job. I'm going to have to pay a third party to install the remaining felt, so I can't recommend them at all.”

“Bits didn't fit together properly. had to plane one of the doors to fit. it was a bit of a nightmare. Suppose you get what you pay for.”

“We purchased a walk round Victorian style greenhouse and we were very disappointed with the quality of the wood used. A lot seemed to be ‘gash’ wood ie holes where the knots had fallen out, not planed etc if I had been making it myself I would have rejected a good percentage of the wood and used as firewood! However, I gave it two coats of Coloured paint and from a distance I am very pleased with the design. The delivery man was excellent.”

“I haven't assembled the shed yet because I had to strengthen the flimsy floor with additional battens. If the rest is like this I will have to replace it quite soon. Its not what I expected and probably my fault for buying a cheap shed. All the same, it should be fit for purpose which I believe the floor is not. Also I was told I would get a 2 hour delivery slot and be contacted half an hour beforehand. In reality, the guy rang my doorbell at 6.30am, waking me up. At 6.32am I received a text saying my delivery slot was 5.35am to 7.35am. Thats a daft way of carrying on and I'm not happy with the product or the service.”

“Ordered small Adley log store. Instructions were not clear enough. Also was supposed to be smooth planed timber, but as the saying goes it was 'rough as a badgers backside'. Cost much more to use spirit based stain/preservative than should have as a result, in order to adhere to warranty conditions. Overall opinion average. Doubt will buy from sheds.co.uk again.”
