“Ordered a 12' x 6' shed which duly arrived. However it had the wrong set of instructions which led to some confusion as to the parts that should be included etc etc. The subsequent phone calls and email exchanges were not very enlightening. It is clear that this company, or at least the operatives I spoke to, know nothing about the products they are sell and in fact are a third party between the manufacturer and the customer. The experience was not one I would repeat were I to be in the market for another shed or similar outbuilding. I would definitely look elsewhere.”

Hi Andrew, Apologies for this and any inconvenience it may have caused you, after looking into this matter further I can see you were in communication with one of our customer service agents and they provided you with the correct instructions. There doesn't seem to be any issues with the information they have given you. It's also been no secret that we are a 3rd party retailer, we are very proud of our relationships with our suppliers. We work closely with them to ensure our customers receive the best products available on the internet.

“Disappointing. You order a shed because you’re told it is in stock with fast delivery / availability. You are offered the chance to select a delivery date but don’t know what that date is until it is bought and paid for. Once you have completed the purchase you’re told delivery is in 5 weeks. You try and cancel and have to jump through a million hoops. I’ll buy elsewhere.”

“Ordering and delivery process were spot on. The £400 shed is shocking. I know its not the most expensive shed out there and you get what you pay for but you'd still hope it would be ok for £400 ? Ive had it a little over a year now and the ridge is noticeably sinking, the doors don't close properly at all, they've twisted so much that the rain comes in at the bottom where there's no way of pulling the warping back. The latch no longer lines up, on the hinge side of the door there's always been a gap which allows water in, knots have fallen out leaving gaps and the windows were rubbish cheap thin plastic from the start. We're giving it away in a couple of weeks and building a new one. The shed has been sitting on a 200mm solid concrete base and the doors only see evening sun. If this is the standard of their sheds / timber i wouldn't recommend to anyone. To be fair though i haven't contacted sheds.co.uk as i don't want a replacement and i think a refund after a year is unlikely”

“Put order ok , they got in touch said July shed would be delivered, I then rang them to get an update only to be told it would not be delivered until November ? Got in touch with Sixty Store where i originally placed my order and they could not have been more helpful , refund with in a few weeks.”

“The doors don't align and the "overlap" on the doors looks like it was assembled by a child. There was no attention to detail. Some of the timber was splitting and looked rough cut. The basic lock you get is pathetic.”

“I bought a 6'x8' Hartwood overlap shed from Sheds.co.uk, I have written and complained regarding the quality of the manufacture of the shed. I received 3 emails from the same email address asking broadly the same questions, I sent photos and recieved a "not interested email" from their Business Operations Manager which I have added here "After reviewing the images that you have sent in we are unable to help any further. The Product has been built well and there are no issues with the product. Please see our Terms and Conditions regarding returns and change of mind. My apologise if this is not the out come you were hoping for.". The shed is poor quality, the structural frame is flimsy and the components are not square, there is no adjustment on the door hinges and the lap panels caused to door to be off square and nothing can be done, the door slam post is shaped like a banana and the panels are warped. The door is warped, See the photos and beware!!!”

“Shed damaged by packing during transport, parts missing which I have still not received including lock & key, husband a joiner so have had to replace missing parts at my own expense and strip roof to make fit as roof measurements incorrect, wouldn’t recommend this contact.”

“I'm still waiting for my order It hasnt been delivered yet. I have been trying to get in touch with after sales help line and got no answer want to find out when it is getting delivered”

Thank you for your comments. We can confirm the product you have ordered is currently on a lead time of 5-8 Weeks, all lead times are displayed on our website at purchase. “Ordered a shed for me and it arrived in advertised timeframe. Ordered a birthday gift for my father on 14 May with advertised delivery time of 14-28 days. The second order has not been dispatched/received and no response whatsoever has been received by using the email helpline and calling was pointless as the call was never answered. Accepted there will be issues in these uncertain times but that shouldn't prevent an email reply and they have had payment since May.”

“Ordering very easy so 5 stars for that but getting a delivery date is impossible I wanted the item asap but after paying was told after having to email them it would be at least 28 days if I’d known that I would have ordered somewhere else so not happy with that at all so no stars for that and won’t order from them again if I want something urgent.”

“When ordering the shed was expecting a delivery time to come up....maybe I missed this. Had to phone and very helpful lady said 5-7 weeks. Would I have ordered had I known this? Did actually get delivered after about 4 weeks...I think? I ordered a plastic garden store and the back is 3 pieces of card! I have emailed Sheds.co.uk ....they probably don't realise this”
