“Shed arrived quickly but when it came nails/screws all over and looks messy and loads of varnish come off and split wood. Complained and they fobbed me off saying it needs painting anyway! Hmm still bad quality and split, won’t use again”

“very helpful guy got in touch with me ( after 45 mins waiting for someone to pick up my call) the same guy helped me find the product I was looking for very poor phone system you have there - and the delivery dates are pretty shocking as well I have to wait until November the 30th for my purchace to arrive”

“I ordered a "Loxley" 7x7 corner summerhouse from Sheds.co.uk. The summerhouse was delivered from Shire Garden Buildings. Shire delivered the wrong summerhouse and a week later replaced 3 panels, the windows and the doors. To add to the confusion the "Loxley" from Sheds.co.uk is the "Hampton" from Shire. During construction we had to have a warped doorpost replaced and the casement window catches had to be sent by post. We found the quality of the tongue and groove to be very disappointing, some of the nails that hold the frame together were sticking out of the frame. We still do not have doors that hang correctly and one window cannot be opened despite being planed to fit and the hinges being padded out with filets of wood. This has been very disappointing.”

“Not very happy with the shed The bifolding doors do not align up, nor open nicely You’d not even made a proper hole for the key, nor put anything around the keyhole - cudnt even lock it & then pull the key out! had to make another bigger hole Not worth nearly £1,000!”

“Easy to buy, but states sells then doesn't supply very quickly. Appreciate that there is a difficult situation but no contact and still no delivery date at 06/10 about 3 weeks after buying - this is why the site gets a 2 star rating I'm afraid - anyone can take money for a product they haven't got. Not good.”

“Shed looks good once erected. However feet were difficult to remove from side panels causing cracks in some wood panels. Not great that you have to pre drill all holes and not everything lines up perfectly. I also ordered a separate base, which I thought would arrive pre-built. Not easy to put together and again all holes need to be pre drilled.”

“Ok, I placed my order with Sheds.co.uk because there seemed to be a large number of 5 stars reviews, the price was good and at six weeks, the lead time was one of the shortest I could find. I paid for installation but despite chasing I was only given a date late on the Friday before the shed was due to be delivered the following Monday - and that date was 10 days after delivery. This wasnt an option for me so I cancelled the installation. On the day of the delivery, communications were fine and the driver arrived at the correct time and commenced offloading. It was good that the guys I'd paid to install the shed were around because I wouldnt have noticed the splits, the bent support and the numerous instances of nails missing their mark. I am amazed that their quality control did not spot this. (I have tried to upload a photo to this website but it doesn't appear to accept jpgs). There is a reason why the price is good - it is because the shed is flimsy and poor quality - be warned. I called customer services afterwards and got through to a company called MGP (Mercia Garden Products) who tried to fob me off with a very quick offer of £30. I was that disappointed with the shed that in my dispondancy I refused the offer. I've never bought a shed before so I guess this is a learning experience for me - you get what you pay for. Possibly the thing I'm most disappointed about is how they ask for a review immediately after placing an order - no wonder they get so many 5 star reviews because their website is well put together. I would have so much more respect for this company if they only requested a review at the end of the delivery/installation - I'd suggest their score would be very different if that was so.”

“DO NOT BUY A SUMMERHOUSE! It really is a shambles. I feel any minute now it’s going to blow away. The woods rough, dented, big holes in it some of the main parts are split and the roof is so thin, whoever made it couldn’t even be bothered hammering the nails in correctly and don’t get me started on the doors they don’t even close flush! I’m lucky my dad and brother in law are joiners and they’ve ended up buying extra ply wood for inside and putting a new roof on it. We were unable to check it on delivery as the guy just got in his van and drove off. I really wouldn’t bother it makes me ill that I’ve spent so much money on it when it’s worth £300 max.”

“Worst shed I’ve ever brought 12 x 6 the ship lap boards don’t line up properly panel to panel the door panel has a longer overhang at the bottom than the rest of the panels and looks horrible a couple of boards are split and also one board in the door and there’s nothing to nail the barge boards or felt on the end of the roof panels apart from the end of the top and bottom rail all in all an expensive shed for the quality unfortunately need the shed urgent so have had to rectify problems myself or I would have returned it”

“Ordered a premium shed, arrived with missing parts, contacted them on the day. Over a month later I've still not got the parts delivered, i have emailed multiple times and also rang so many times, nobody answeringand call dropping, an the couple of times someone has answered ive been told 4 times that they will be here by end of the week on numerous times. Poor customer service for how much we paid, how hard is it for a few parts to be sent? Wouldnt buy from these again, or recommend to anybody after how we have been treated, quick to take money!!”

“Delivery was fine, took awhile but that is to be expected currently. The main sides of the shed were find but the door was what I can only describe as a miss match of wood so the hinges did not fit. We had to try and add wood fittings so we could attach the hinges. The floor was so thin we had to buy wood to attach to the base so we could walk on it and not fall through. While we are nearly at the stage of having a relatively solid shed it has taken a lot of work on our part.”

“Delivery date was months ahead, but I agreed to this. Arrived on due date. Shed very poor quality. Roof doesn't fit, leaving large gap which I'm going to have to fill. Some warped timbers. Doors don't fit, panels already split. Nail heads protruding. Frame timber barely adequate, almost half the diameter of those in the old shed. I'm sure I will sort this out but shouldn't have to. I don't suppose the shed will survive very long.”

“The floor is made from chip board and very very flimsy! i'm going to have to spend time and money making it more robust, bit disappointed really and shouldn't have to go to these lengths to make a brand new shed an acceptable standard. Vincent Grinney”

“Althoght the finished shed is lovely the customer service Is apauling. We had damaged parts on delivery, contested customer service numerous times and told replacements would be sent they never arrived. After building the shed (with the damaged parts as we didn't want to leave the wood exposed any longer) the door and window handles didn't match and the lock barrel didn't fit. Again after the initial response from customer service nothing. It has been nearly 3 months now and still all we have is "we will contact the manufacturer". Apaluling Service for an expensive purchase.”

“Still awaiting my shed ordered in May been told supplier had difficulty in locating my order! Been told it will arrive after October? I'm getting a tad fed up with their seemingly inability to provide me with what I've paid for. Charge back on the cardsh I think. If you want a shed delivered promptly Suggest you look elsewhere. Still if they read this they may surprise me!”

“The website was easy to use. Placed the order on site said 6wks for delivery so we went a head and got it. Then when we got the delivery date it ended up being 4months. And when arrived given a rough time 4 delivery and was 3hrs later than they said. And it was strange forward putting up but we had a problem with the glass but the glass lookednut had been sitting around 4 ages. As all the paper between the glass was all stuck to the glass so had 2 get a wrapper to get it off. And 2 pieces of glass was broken which I am replacing. As i dont want 2 wait another 4 months 4 the glass. And when arrived only on a back of a flat bed truck. Not much care I dont think for how much you send on their products. Also had to use filler in some of the summer house as had a few holes in and cracks in wood”

“Poor quality shed. Do not buy from them. The flooring was really weak . Panels have splits in them. Shoddy workmanship!!! Poor thin wood .I wish I had read these reviews first !! Extremely disappointed ☹️. Doubt it will make it through a winter.”
