very poor customer service. We had 2 jobs to be done - shelving in living room and bedroom units. Both jobs were to be done together but the fitter cancelled on the day he was due. The job was then divided in 2 but in both cases it was a struggle to get anyone to come and do the work. We rearranged a holiday to return on one occasion and again on the day you tried to cancel. Only upon great insistence was the job done on the day arranged. I was not impressed and would not use sharps again.

we had a brilliant designer (Sue Sharpe) who created exactly what we wanted. Pleased with the result although the whole experience was rather marred by the fitter who making sexist comments. We are hoping eventually to get bedside tables to match.

From the first phone call arranging the initial appointment to the finished job only three weeks later, we received excellent service - communication was outstanding as well as the finished articles - 2 sets of wardrobes in our loft conversion. The units fit perfectly into the sloping roof and look so good. We are delighted.

I was very surprised when a woman come to measure up but my what a good job she did also the fitter I had was brilliant he kept checking that everything was what I wanted and he even cleaned up when he finished would certainly recommend them well pleased

We were disappointed that our original design was changed between the salesman's visit and the subsequent draughtsman's visit. We did not notice the discrepancy until the fitter had almost finished the job. However, he made a reasonable adjustment which we agreed to at the time but have since found rather difficult to use. We were pleased with the fitter, who worked extremely hard to finish the job in the time we requested, but I was extremely disappointed with his quite poor clean up. He used only a dustpan and brush when I consider that an industrial vacuum cleaner was essential. Despite the above comments we are very pleased with the finished product.

The planning was good but we didn't get quite what we thought we were getting. The doors are now an issue as the wood closes against wood with no stoppers making them noisy and annoying

Summer 2013 was when we organised for Sharps to install shelving on the landing of our Grade II listed barn conversion. Wishing to modernise the property after 14 years of residence and utilise space better, we arranged for Sharps to visit and plan shelving that would double as space for children's toys (lego galore) and family books/resources: we were not disappointed. No sooner were the designs planned, than the surveyor was present to finalise measurements and then a friendly, competent fitter visited within a week to create our new storage. The quality and design are very pleasing. We would highly recommend Sharpes for future fitted storage purposes.

Had sharps design wardrobes in a loft conversion very good quality and has given us so much more space in a very limited area. The only negative was the fitter left the area untidy after he had finished and we had to do trips to the dump to get rid of it. But apart from that very happy with the product and the finish of the wardrobes.

I have several experiences with sharps and all positive in terms of quality of product, skill of carpenter installing and leadtime to get the work done. Sharps is not the cheapest in the market, but they sell you an end to end service for a piece of mind

We had never used Sharps service before and decided to go ahead as our smallest bedroom which had a sloping ceiling and obtrusive stairwell made it awkward to furnish. We had a double doored sliding wardrobe fitted alongside a chest of draws and we were thrilled with the reult. The quality of workmanship and the amount of space it created was impressive. From start to finish everyone involved in the process was polite, courteous and professional and I was amazed at how efficient the fitter worked on his own whilst leaving everything really tidy. I would certainly use the service again.

After the initial contact the designer failed to turn up for the initial appointment so not a good start. A second appointment was made and the designer listened to us and then came up with an initial set up that in my opinion would not have fitted--we discussed it further and turned the whole design through 90 degrees to make it work. Whilst the quality of the furniture seems good in hind-sight I regret not telling your designer to go away when I was quoted quite frankly a ludicrous price for the set up that we wanted. The cut down version was still very expensive for what was supplied. I believe that I could have had an equivalent installation for half the price. I don't feel that this is value for money and I certainly wouldn't use you again.

Tom the designer provided us with a very good initial design and he was happy to take on board our amendments. The fitter did a great job and managed to complete in one day. I am very happy with my built cupboards.

I am so impressed with my new bedroom. I had in mind how I wanted the furniture to be fitted but the sales rep. offered an alternative arrangement to allow more storage space. At first, I was unsure about it but once he had drawn it out I decided to 'go with it', and it is marvellous. I now have so much storage space that one drawer is still empty! Delivery and fitter turned up as arranged and the work was completed sooner than estimated. All in all the experience was good from start to finish.

After recently moving home and having to leave behind the built in wardrobes that I had built for me we found using the cheap fabric wardrobes a pain. My wife first spoke to a Sharps rep' at The Bath & West show and arranged for him to call and to design new wardrobes for our main bedroom and cupboards in my study at our new home. Their sales rep arrived, listened to our requirements, measured the rooms and left us with a sketch of his proposals and a quotation of both jobs individually. On our acceptance a date for the surveyor, making, delivery and installation was agreed. The surveyor called and measured every single nook and cranny we had in the rooms, but obviously a professional at work from the fine detail on his drawings. About a month later the delivery was due on the Friday morning with the fitter(s) starting on the following Monday. To make sure someone was at home for the delivery my wife took the morning off work. At 12.00 mid-day I received a call from my wife saying nothing had arrived and she had phoned Sharps office, to no avail. "We will look into it and phone you straight back" said the office lady. At 1.30 pm I received another call from my wife telling me that nothing had been delivered and she had had no reply from the office and had phoned them back but could not get through and she had to attend a meeting at 2.30 pm and I would have to come home to take the delivery. Not part of my planned schedule for the day. I got home at 2.00 pm and waited and phoned, and waited and phoned, and waited. By now I was really concerned because nobody knew what had happened to the delivery lorry! How do you lose a 4 ton delivery vehicle? By 5.00 pm every thought had crossed my mind with my last thought being "How do I get my money back as they haven't made it" At 5.15 I phoned the rep and left a message for him to call me asap. When he did phone me, about 6.00 pm, he told me there was no one in the office now!!! and that he would come back to me tomorrow if he can get an answer or asap if not. That evening my wife and I discussed for hours, with very pessimistic views, what we had to do next. The next morning, still feeling let down, at 8.30 am the phone rang with the voice of a young man telling me that he had a delivery for me and he would be with me in half an hour. By the time I had explained the call to my wife a large lorry pulled up in front of my driveway, three men got out and you could see they all had their own task. When the driver came in to introduce himself I questioned him with, "What happened yesterday? Without hesitation he informed me that the lorry had broken down with a full load on board and it had now been repaired or replaced and they were therefore delivering today. What a relief, the last 24 hours had been too hell and back with how I was going to get my money back. Those lads deserve a mention as they were true grafters with-in an hour they had everything stacked in its correct bundle, sign here please and were gone. Monday came and at 7.50 am so did the fitter. He introduced himself was very polite and a good worker. So far so good. I had a call that afternoon from the rep telling me that the lorry had broken down but they would get it to me asap!! When I got home from work Monday evening the fitter was still there packing up. He had started on the bedroom and it was really taking shape. Buy Wednesday evening he had finished and it all looked fantastic in both the bedroom and the study. My wife and I were really pleased with the finished product. But, my main question to the management is;" Why in this world of modern technology is there such a lack of correspondence between staff. Yes, Hey ho, it all turned out OK in the end but when someone has invested thousands of pounds into a company who don't turn-up, it really brings out a cautionary message when recommending to others.
