“Hi, we had sharps to come and design a fitted wardrobe for us, and the design is perfect for what we were looking for, we're happy to say we placed the order, the guy who came to do the design was absolutely fantastic, a real gentleman and knew what he was talking about, we would not hesitate to recommend him and sharps to anyone looking to upgrade a wardrobe or bedroom. “The company never tells you that your room/house will have to be transformed into a workshop where the engineers will cut, saw, sand, and prepare all the parts for your wardrobe from scratch. As with any other furniture company, after two visits during which all the measurements were taken, designs, colors and materials discussed, and papers signed, we were expecting the order to come flat packed, ready to be installed. The first red flag was raised when the delivery of huge MDF sheets came at 7:00 am with no prior email, call or any other notification, just a knock on the door on the early morning of the 30th December. So we had to celebrate New Year and live with that pile of materials in the bedroom for nearly a week. Next red flag was the engineer who came on the 3rd January with tons - and I am not kidding! - of tools, converting the bedroom into the workshop. So instead of just assembling the wardrobe he was cutting the parts from the big sheets right there and then. He is now on his day two, with dust flying all over the house, my husband and I having to sleep on the sofas in the living room, and I am not even sure if he will finish by the end of today. The guy is doing a great job, amazing precision and accuracy, but I did not expect my bedroom to become a workshop, I didn't expect we'll have to vacate the room, it is almost impossible to work due to cutting / sawing / drilling noises and I am not happy that my whole family has to breath in the mdf dust. If I knew this is the way they operate, I wouldn't place an order with Sharps. So I would only recommend going ahead with them if you are able to stay elsewhere while they are building everything (and double- and triple-check everything: for example, my signed-off designs were listing five shelves, but the engineer's copy has only four and only four have been delivered).”

“We went to Sharps due to the advertised 50% offer. The quote for 4 wardrobes (2 half height due to the angle of the ceiling) was £10k! This was a plain white spec and no frills. Not sure whether the prices are inflated prior to the discount period but the cost seemed absurd to us.”
