“I tried 3 times to get the foam straight edge's Having cut out the shape But failed ,I gave up it looked rubbish ,so is now in the skip across the road”

“A good product It would be a bit better if the layers were guled in a grid to make it easier to tear, makes it tough on the hands after a while, you need decent grip strength to do it The free kit was handy”

“All product I used was great only down side is that in all the product descriptions and when buying the items It showed me getting the cutting kit which had cut resistant gloves included but when I received the package it wasn't included. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but would have liked to get all the things advertised”

“Excellent product, fast delivery and good value. The only thing that let it down and stopped me giving 5 stars was the fact that the foam is not 'easy-peel' by any stretch of the imagination. If you could make it so that the layers did separate more easily the product would be perfect. Having said that, it's an excellent product/concept and I'm looking for further applications.”

“Ordered several pre-cut inserts for my Dewalt toolbox, plus one sheet of 70mm thick for other storage. The foam is robust and easy to cut with a good craft knife or the knife supplied in the cutting set. If you plan to cut out larger areas in the foam (say for power tools etc.) it's worth having the base cutting disc set to smooth the bases of the cut areas out. If you're just cutting out for hand tools you probably don't need these. I would give a five star rating, however, when I ordered the foam the website showed I would receive a free cutting kit including the hand protection no-cut gloves. Delivery arrived, received the knife and spare blades, but no protective gloves.”

“Everything arrived as ordered and in good time. However, the cutting guide/square was covered in scratches from use. I emailed to say that it was a used one and could I have a new one. No response. Still waiting. Unlikely to order anymore as first encounter does not look promising.”

“after buying other foam and not being able to do a nice job to cut out the inserts for my tools I switched to shadowfoam and it's been great. only remark would be that the other foam looked more luxurious as it was more dense. the shadowfoam is a bit more coarse but still looks amazing and is very easy to work with.”

“When the sheets of Shadowfoam arrived there was surprisingly more than I thought there would be, enough for two deep trays and four shallow ones four shallow ones in my tool chest. I'm a bit OCD about my tools, so this is the perfect product for me. With a little practice I was soon able to cut out the shapes around my tools (not as neat as the experts on the video but with a little more practice it would get neater). Probably need to heat/smoothing tool to tidy up. I ran out of space in my tool chest so have ordered another one and will definitely be ordering more shadowfoam to fit it out.”
