“I just forked out over £600 for a full service-I was called by a member of the garage to say that only 1 thing needed fixing to pass the MOT (Screen wash pump) around £100...fine. I was then offered a whole suite of treatments as part of the service and was assured I was getting the best price. I trusted the adviser and agreed for additional work to be carried out. More fool I for having trusted these crooks. £65 + VAT for a brake fluid change (Halfords will do this for £37 incl VAT). Then they try to scam you by paying an additional £25 to ensure you get the special service price again next year. But their special sale never ends they just change the name of the sale from Winter, Spring, Summer etc 365 days a year so why do they need to take extra money to secure a special a price when the special price never changes?-Avoid this company at all costs.”

We’re sorry you were not entirely satisfied with your experience; providing a car servicing experience that is convenient, affordable and hassle-free for the customer is our ultimate aim at Servicing Stop. I’m sorry you feel the cost of the brake fluid change was high. We monitor our prices very carefully so that our customers are always sure of getting a good deal overall. In most cases, we like to think we’re the cheapest and when you factor in other aspects, such as the free collection and delivery offered as standard with all our service plans, we think the customer definitely comes out on top. Despite never knowingly being beaten on price (see our Best Price guarantee), like all service providers, our prices fluctuate throughout the year depending on a number of factors. We have a number of sales annually, where our prices are even cheaper than usual. Our most recent was the MOT sale in March, where customers could get an MOT for £15 if booked with a service. The £25 you mention is an optional deposit you can choose to pay upon the completion of the service. The customer is under no obligation to pay it, and it simply locks down the price of the service for the following year. “I booked my vehicle in for an mot then waited a week for my booking then it was cancelled on the day so I booked another one for a week later and that was also cancelled due to no drivers available so I was a week late on my mot I am not happy at all”
