I had heard about these guys from an old Dragons Den episode. Decided to give them a try. Liked the idea of the pick up and drop off service. Worked like a dream. Good price too.

Can't really tell usually the car is valeted, l asked for the wheels to changed round but otherwise it seems ok

Charged one price then invoiced a totally different price,paid for a new auxiliary belt that had already been done one year ago and was also advised that a new timing belt and water pump would soon be needed also done a year ago then when car was returned log book showed I had some how done 2000 miles less than my service a year ago,and to make matters worst I asked if a load squeaking noise could be solved but some £390 later car back with me but nothing done about the noise so I to after trying in vein via telephone with no success will have no option other than going down the trading standards route

Do not use.... I have been lied to about work needed. Asked for a second opinion and they confirmed the rear suspensions were fine. I am in the process of writing to Watchdog and opening a case with trading standards. Watch this space.

Save yourself the hassle and doubts when getting your car 'Serviced' and Avoid this 3rd party money making scam. The fact they were featured on Dragons Den, with a basically a middle man service explains a lot! Just don't!!!!!

Fine until you actually need work done. Called me to say car had failed mot as it needed a new tyre. Ok fine. Also needed new brake fluid. Also fine, expected that. Also needs the coolant replaced a full engine flush and "special oils" all in? £450!! I called the garage directly who told me servicing stop add a mark up. Also - they only recommend the brake fluid change and the tyre was needed. The rest were just advisory and not needed. Offered to do those two pieces of work at their own price. £100 and standard oil.

Con men! Started at 98.97 for full service plus MOT. So far so good. Then a phone call to say it needs full engine flush and full brake fluid flush and replacement. Oh, and the oil isn't included in the price so that, in itself, is an added £24 plus VAT. Total price over £300! I challenged. Well the flush is recommended being a diesel and all but without it, still in the mid £200s. it was as if I had no choice. When challenged, it came down to it has done over 100k miles so it is recommended. Then I said I didn't want it, guild was added with, "so without the road safety servicing..." Finally pinned them down to the initial 98.97 plus the engine oild. THEN - really take care over this, when it come to pay online, £25 deposit for next years service is ticked by default. It took me ten minutes to figure out why the bottom line was so much higher than the final bill. had I not have been so on the ball (and skint) I'd have paid almost £400 for work that was unnecessary. However, the garage they used was really polite and helpful advising me on all sorts of stuff that may need doing soon that they didn't actually do (so it wasn't self-servibg advice).

Booked 8-9am pick up for my car to have a service, turned up at 10am, no apology or explanation as to why they were so late. Phoned customer service, (expect to be on hold for at least 5 mins every time you ring) once again no apology or explanation but appeared to shift blame to garage. No communication all day until I get a text about 1630 hrs telling me I need to make a payment or they won't release my car! Payment made (they charge you for using credit and/or debit card even though you can't pay any other way) and yet I still had to chase them to find out when my car was being "released". By the way, they charge you £20 for this poor pick up/drop off service. Car finally arrived home, but after checking log book I noticed it hadn't had the service book stamped even though they assured me it had been. Yet again another long phone call on hold to then be told I can't make a complaint over the phone but have to send in an email. It appears to be their policy to NEVER apologise, give an explanation or compensation. Time will tell if I ever get my log book stamped. Avoid at all cost, they are just a middle man, you're better off just going to the garage direct.

Very disappointed. They promised so much - good rates, speedy service, free collection of the car. I booked an appointment for a service and MOT for the end of the week. This was confirmed by email. The day before the appointment I received an email and call from them to inform me that the slot I'd booked wasn't available with a local garage. Okay, I thought, that can happen to anyone, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. So I re-booked for two or three weeks later, a Monday. The Friday before, in the afternoon, I had a call to say sorry, but that slot wasn't available with a local garage. Bear in mind I had booked this new slot at least two weeks previously - they left it until the last minute to tell me it wasn't possible. I told them that my MOT was due the following week (which was why I had booked the original date in the first place) and so I had to have the appointment next week, and asked what they could do. They told me the earliest available appointment was in three weeks time!! But, if I was prepared to drive the car to the garage myself, I could have an appointment next week. Okay, I thought, not ideal, but what choice did I have? I asked where the nearest garage was, and was told that it is about half an hour's drive away! This completely defeats the object of booking with them in the first place if I have to drive half an hour to the garage (after having been promised free collection). "We're hoping to recruit more local garages in the near future" was the reply. That wasn't much use to me for my MOT due date. So, a big failure, not impressed at all.

Crooks.......do not go there..... they told me a bush was worn on my car , 4 years later after visiting different MOT centres the bush still has not been changed

Beware of damages to you car Beware of pressure selling at the end Beware of worst customer service Beware of complete frustration to an extend of blaming the moment you choose servicing stop for servicing your car All happened to me and at the they made me a liar as well!!!!

Never gona use them again. They said that tension belt was worn so I bought new one and went to garage when mechanic looked at belt in a car and then took out he looked at me and asked why you want to change tension belt? Basically they liad about it. So disapointed

Positives: Easy to book and headline price was competitive against previous garages used. Good communication via text and also calls. Garage assigned picked up the vehicle on the date specified and at the time stated. Negatives: On the day of MOT and Service I get a call highlighting additional work identified during service. New rear brake pads, full coolant flush and engine flush before new oil was added. Finally additional cost to add fully synthetic oil. No issue with brake pads as I would expect any garage to ring up and state cost. Took issue with full coolant flush and also additional cost of oil. Rationale is that Service Stop will have access to a system that will tell them the service schedules for any vehicle all garages I have used have access and therefore when they provide you with a cost its fixed as they know what needs to be done. Based on this they will know if a full coolant flush is required and price accordingly at the POINT OF SALE. In addition I am shocked that additional cost of oil cannot be identified at the POINT OF SALE, you can enter your REG into any site selling oil and it will tell you what oil is required for your car and price. So shocked this company do not have the technology to be able to do the same. Final point is that I suspect that any work this company outlines to you will be grossly overcharged by the underlying garage they have sub contracted the work out too and you might feel compelled to just go ahead. I did not want to get ripped off and will be getting quotes from other companies. The sceptic in me feels that the headline price is not reflective in the majority of cases what the final price is and their is an incentive for this company and its sub-contractor garages to add additional costs at inflated prices. I have tried to be objective and point out both the positive and negative experiences.

Collection and service worked well, and price v reasonable (no extras for us). We have an in-car dashcam so checked the footage to see if the car was driven safely - phew! Book stamped as promised. Happy customers. Will use again.

Servicingstop.co.uk advertising 60% discount? Please be advised if choosing to have a full service by Servicingstop.co.uk you will find the Price quoted Will be escalated by so-called additional work and parts normally included in a full service. My price quoted was £118 and I ended up paying £356.22 if paying with a credit card there will be another 2.50% added. Also beware when paying there will also be another £44 added to the invoice, this will need to be un-ticked, added towards next years service. When I spoke to the garage owners I was told they were only paid £182 by Servicingstop.co.uk for the work.That's about 49% extra commission to Servicingstop.co.uk. I feel very angry and will not consider a car service by this company ever again. Please beware and go elsewhere.

I did use it 3 times and every time it was getting worse and worse. It looks cheap and convenient from first impression, but it is highly expensive at the end. Example (combined from 3 times): MOT + full service. MOT 24£ - which they did ok, but after MOT they claimed that coolant 'has changed colour' and would be good to replace it. Breaking fluid 'has water in it' - needs replacement. And 'we already put a good oil ' even I did ask them not to do any service if MOT fails. There were other items to fix as wheel bearing change and engine is out of limits a bit with smoke. To fix all I've got huge estimation which I have declined not without efforts as they were trying hard to sell this stuff to me. It took me 2+ hours to fight back additional 25£ they were trying to get from me for non requested service (oil). I took my car in other garage and they have done all required (excluding 'wrong colour/too much water' nonsense) twice cheaper including MOT! Summary: convenient, but very expensive service and be ready for upsell attempts and unwanted work done. Your agent will be a salesmen somewhere in a remote call centre (not a garage manager/mechanic) with the primary aim it seems to squeeze some money from you. By the way - they suggest 10£ for a positive review.
