Positives: Easy to book and headline price was competitive against previous garages used. Good communication via text and also calls. Garage assigned picked up the vehicle on the date specified and at the time stated. Negatives: On the day of MOT and Service I get a call highlighting additional work identified during service. New rear brake pads, full coolant flush and engine flush before new oil was added. Finally additional cost to add fully synthetic oil. No issue with brake pads as I would expect any garage to ring up and state cost. Took issue with full coolant flush and also additional cost of oil. Rationale is that Service Stop will have access to a system that will tell them the service schedules for any vehicle all garages I have used have access and therefore when they provide you with a cost its fixed as they know what needs to be done. Based on this they will know if a full coolant flush is required and price accordingly at the POINT OF SALE. In addition I am shocked that additional cost of oil cannot be identified at the POINT OF SALE, you can enter your REG into any site selling oil and it will tell you what oil is required for your car and price. So shocked this company do not have the technology to be able to do the same. Final point is that I suspect that any work this company outlines to you will be grossly overcharged by the underlying garage they have sub contracted the work out too and you might feel compelled to just go ahead. I did not want to get ripped off and will be getting quotes from other companies. The sceptic in me feels that the headline price is not reflective in the majority of cases what the final price is and their is an incentive for this company and its sub-contractor garages to add additional costs at inflated prices. I have tried to be objective and point out both the positive and negative experiences.

Collection and service worked well, and price v reasonable (no extras for us). We have an in-car dashcam so checked the footage to see if the car was driven safely - phew! Book stamped as promised. Happy customers. Will use again.

Servicingstop.co.uk advertising 60% discount? Please be advised if choosing to have a full service by Servicingstop.co.uk you will find the Price quoted Will be escalated by so-called additional work and parts normally included in a full service. My price quoted was £118 and I ended up paying £356.22 if paying with a credit card there will be another 2.50% added. Also beware when paying there will also be another £44 added to the invoice, this will need to be un-ticked, added towards next years service. When I spoke to the garage owners I was told they were only paid £182 by Servicingstop.co.uk for the work.That's about 49% extra commission to Servicingstop.co.uk. I feel very angry and will not consider a car service by this company ever again. Please beware and go elsewhere.

I did use it 3 times and every time it was getting worse and worse. It looks cheap and convenient from first impression, but it is highly expensive at the end. Example (combined from 3 times): MOT + full service. MOT 24£ - which they did ok, but after MOT they claimed that coolant 'has changed colour' and would be good to replace it. Breaking fluid 'has water in it' - needs replacement. And 'we already put a good oil ' even I did ask them not to do any service if MOT fails. There were other items to fix as wheel bearing change and engine is out of limits a bit with smoke. To fix all I've got huge estimation which I have declined not without efforts as they were trying hard to sell this stuff to me. It took me 2+ hours to fight back additional 25£ they were trying to get from me for non requested service (oil). I took my car in other garage and they have done all required (excluding 'wrong colour/too much water' nonsense) twice cheaper including MOT! Summary: convenient, but very expensive service and be ready for upsell attempts and unwanted work done. Your agent will be a salesmen somewhere in a remote call centre (not a garage manager/mechanic) with the primary aim it seems to squeeze some money from you. By the way - they suggest 10£ for a positive review.

What a terrible experience. Needed my car serviced and they had the best quote so had them doing the job. Then was suggested other works need to be done, which I paid over 1000 pounds for them to do. HOWEVER, 1. Advised me one part needs to be replaced, ended up with a different one being replaced yet refuse to do anything about it. 2. Didn't bother asking me where the key was for the lock nuts on the wheels and removed them by force which damaged all the lock nuts. Used normal nuts when putting them back together but without telling me about it. I had to find out myself. 3. Steering wheel is not aligned properly. ServicingStop advisor suggested to do a tracking to fix the issue. As I have very limited knowledge about cars, I agreed. It turned out the steering wheel was previously removed and was not put back in the correct position hence it's not alligned. Tracking wouldn't have fixed it. Again, ServicingStop refused to refund because "it was a suggestion, not a statement". 4. The steering wheel now starts rattling when I hit 70 mph. Previously I took it up to 120 and it was stead as stone. 5. Assigned the job to a garage on the other side of London. When the car was returned, it used nearly 30 pounds worth of petrol. Again, they said this is within their policy which is not stated anywhere on the website. Nothing they would do about this either. 6. Servicing light on dash was not reset. 7. Service booklet was missing a tick on the Fuel Filter. Took them over a week to respond to my initial email. The best advice they could provide was for me to talk to the garage myself about the issues. They have no intention to resolve the issues in your favour at all. This is NOT a customers come first company. Avoid at all cost!!!!!

The garage that completed the work were very good and efficient. Collected my car and dropped it off promptly. Servicing stop however are a SCAM outfit. They lure you in with a good price (not the cheapest but went with them due to collection/delivery) and then proceed to charge additionally for "special" oil when the cars in the garage. They new my car was a 15 plate 118d BMW from the registration lookup so should know what oil to quote for. I put these guys up there with the We Buy Any Cars of this world who are just out to scam consumers. They also don't answer your incoming calls or return text messages. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Had a Very bad experience with this company. First time of using them. The so called driver they sent was standing outside he used his feet to stampede heavily on the lever of my seat instead of using his hand to move the seat back while sitting in the car. I heard a loud bang, I thought it was broken. Again, the same driver called me to give me a horrendous bill. I said For what? I only wanted a full service nothing more. We on that for half an hour. I'm highly disappointed at the this company, never again!!

Cost more than the advertised price and if I had accepted their advisories it would have cost £384 more than the £135 they charged. Was phoned by one of their reps to see if I wanted to be ripped off but I declined. They even have the cheek to charge £1 for a debit card payment. They may appear cheap but they say stupid things like we need to charge you an extra £24 plus vat for special oil even though they know the make and model of your car so should know the full cost of your service. Avoid at all costs or suffer the consequences. Car was supposed to be returned by 6pm but it was 6.45 before it arrived.

The advertised price of a service is a con!! You're paying £151 for them to basically drive your car to a garage and drop it back. All other parts of what you'd expect to be included in a normal service like oil change and filters are charged as "extras" so what I thought was a good price service is actually costing me over £400 once you add on the £9 credit card fee and make sure you untick the box they try and add another £25 on for your next service! Avoid this company at all costs. I should have just gone to Mercedes it would only have been slightly more and I would of had peace of mind as well. Never again!!

Car collected late , car returned at 22.50 when I start work at 19.00. Had to get a taxi to and from work, car servicing told me they would pay my costs but keep saying they have paid it but they haven't

I sent my car in to be serviced and for an MOT. I was told over the phone that although my car passed it's MOT it needed to have 5 other repairs totalling over £300, thankfully I left it as I found cheaper quotes elsewhere. When my car was returned to me, I checked the MOT form and it had no advisories! It was a complete con! I will definitely not be using them again!!!!!

I've just had my car serviced and MOT done and I'm extremely disappointed! I chose servicestop because it looked good and reasonably priced. However, don't be conned by this, there are little hidden extras and a £116 full service only includes the replacement of the fuel and air filters. I feel like I have been conned, I called up other garages for quotes on areas that need changing and received much cheaper quotes. I will definitely not be using this service again!

My vehicle was collected for MOT and service on the 22nd December 2016 When trying to sell my car on the 19th February I found out that the paperwork eventually sent to me was the last years MOT and the car had not been registered on the Govrnment website I had to go to the garage direct as Servicing stop promised they would collect the car on the Monday which the failed to arrange My email to them They do not come back to you and you have to constantly ring them This email will go to the owners of Servicing Stop As you may remember I had a nightmare when I had a service and MOT and some work done on my car through Servicing Stop The car initially was not completed, then it wasn’t done on the day specified. Then the garage did not send the MOT I have just had a real issue • The car was serviced on the 22nd December 2016 • You sent me the MOT but the MOT you sent me was the previous year’s MOT • The company you used did not register the MOT and it is not recognised on the government records so this left me liable for the police stopping me as there is no records of me having the MOT (neither me or the person I was trying to sell my vehicle have ever heard of this) • The Company who carried out the MOT now insist I have to take the car to their workshop even though it was their mistake • I was in the process of selling my car for £12,000 when this was raised causing the offer being retracted, so I have lost the offer through the garages incompetence and I wasted the whole weekend • If I hadn’t raised this I would have been driving without any proof of the MOT your appointed company carried out • On advice I will be reporting the garage who carried out my MOT to the authorities for failure to follow government mandated process • My first contact on this left the phone engaged and did not get back to me and another did not believe I was working away from home next week, I can provide the hotel bookings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were supposed to pick my car up on the Monday they hadn't even arranged for it to be picked up They were supposed to use a competent garage. The reviews for the garage was awful So apart from the initial problems of using Servicing Stop • I have no evidence of my current MOT or service • I have no MOT logged with the Government • I have lost a chance to sell the vehicle at price which was good for me • I have wasted time and money from the garages failure This is not acceptable service Please put this right and check the dates on the email you sent to me Wrong MOT with the wrong date No MOT listed on the government database I have had to go to the garage direct as your operator did not come back to me as promised Apparently the operator who told me that the car would be collected today Monday lied it was never arranged The worst customer service I have ever experienced I wait to see how this garage is going to sort the mileage out with the government database now I have no option but to take this matter further as no one is contacting me back Again You have cost me time and expense and a lost chance of selling my vehicle Worst ever company

Extremely poor/ dangerous car service, customer service are very slow, inept and offer promises which they do not keep. My car returned in a much worse state than when it went in for a service. Amongst the failings: - Oil leaking from underneath the car which only occured after the service (which was classed as dangerous when taken for an MOT) - Rear wipers and washers signed off as passed but did not work when returned - Dirt left around the trim and in the driver's section of the car - Service history book not returned when car was returned - Bird mess smeared across the windscreen using the wipers - Promised minor compensation for a valet but this never materialised I would never use them again! They are not interested in helping customers just taking money and trying to upsell usually neeedless extras. UPDATE FEB: Car taken for an MOT and they highlighted a dangerous oil leak which only occurred after the service. Despite advising Servicing Stop of this multiple times, they have ignored this. I will be taking this to Trading Standards

Absolute rip off merchants - do not use. Wife booked in 5 year old Micra for Service and MOT 22/02/17 Charged 55 pounds plus vat for antifreeze = 66 pounds. Charged 65 pounds for brake fluid flush = 78 pounds My wife was not informed of cost involved, she was under the impression the fluid changes were required as part of the MOT, can i ask who in their right minds would think these prices were reasonable. 144 pounds for some anti freeze and a brake fluid flush. Full service and MOT cost 265 pounds with no mechanical issues is an absolute joke.

They charged well over the odds for the repairs on my car. Over double what I should have paid. I'm not too clued up on all this car malarkey so was only made aware I was conned when I spoke to a family member about it! Absolute rip off! Avoid at all costs!

Charge for work not needed/not done. Customer service/complaints do nothing and then just ignore emails. As per other comments 9.8 rating cannot be true. Negative scores on other sites are abundant, do your homework people!

I paid for car servicing (cost far beyond my expectations) and MOT (£19) from this company but the MOT was not performed because I see a message in the dashboard saying "Service in 700 miles or 20 days". According their website they have an excellent rating of 9.8 out of 10, which led me to choose them, but now I believe it's fake. Avoid this company at all costs.

I am just letting you know that i have had a MOT and service with these people having paid well over the odds i was annoyed to find out that half the work that they said needed doing didnt need doing at all, they said i needed new break pads and disc so when they did the work i ask them to send back the old ones , so ive taken these old disc to other garages and ask them what they thought and all three said they were fine and didnt need to be changed , so now im calling trading standards which i am waiting to see what can be done now to at least get some of my money back , and will not let them get away with this ......
