“Amazing service! I highly recommend the branch Wolstanton Julie was very helpful from start to finish. The first time I have been to a opticians and felt like I was genuinely been listened too and most of all I wasn't rushed. Heather the optom was by far the best optom I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, the eye test was so comfortable and enjoyable I actually didn't stop smiling. I learnt so much about my eyes that I never knew. After the eye test Julie showed me the glasses and then talked me through the different types of coatings I could have, this was amazing as i working computers and under bright lights- Julie explained what I needed and why. I wont go anywhere else now, such a great experience that I have reccomended my work colleagues and my family. Keep up the great work and thank you again for amazing service”

“Hi, I am writing firstly to say that the staff and management at your Loughborough store Lorraine and Theresa have always been excellent. They are efficient and caring and represent you well. Sadly , I have changed to Specsavers for my contact lens . I only use one reading lens and was paying around £17 a month with yourselves . I decided i could no longer afford this and stopped wearing it. I then wondered if i could get it cheaper anywhere else and had an appointment at Specsavers who charge me £9 a month for the same lens. I was amazed and have changed to use them. I am on my second health check with them and there has been no increase in price. I also used to have my hearing aids from the Scrivens in loughborough. But when i got to the end of the contract the only package available was one that included quite expensive batteries monthly. I don’t wear my aids all of the time, my need for batteries may well be much less than others and i buy excellent batteries on line for £10 for 60. This lasts me the year. I pay a one off fee once a year to an excellent hearing care service in Barrow . So, in short i will not be using your services in the near future. This does make me a bit sad as Lorraine and Theresa really looked after me , especially at a time when i had a major illness, they made sure I could see and hear !”

“I recently attended the New Milton branch and was seen by Ms Hannah Jeffery. After being told, for forty years, that I had zero hearing in my right ear. Hannah found that I did in fact have some hearing. She suggested that rather than having a "cross-over" hearing aid I should try an actual hearing aid in both ears. The results are nothing more than miraculous. The additional benefit of an App, which my husband has to use!, saves me having to make any adjustments. All in all a first rate professional service, thank you again.”

“Having myringoplasty (ear drum graft) I have been delighted with the improved hearing since getting my aids. The professionalism of the audiologist was easy to see (took a while to hear though!), but when completing the questionnaire I could find nowhere to advise that ONE aid was absolutely spot on and the other one not so. Scrivens provide excellent customer service as one of my aids stopped working and it was replaced with no fuss.”

“The wonderful team at Scrivens saved me from disaster. Having had my specs destroyed by an idiot Labrador, I popped in and, miraculously, 2 hours later, I was presented with what looked like a brand new pair of specs. No charge! You are amazing - thank you so much”

“My two appointments were very helpful. The latter one was excellent. Great care was taken by Mrs Amanda Hume and her student. My hearing aids are good. Even though the left one was a bit loose it's fine now. I'm able to adjust the volume via my BMore app. According to the area in which I'm in. In some places ie church the volume is too much and I remove them. Also I remove them when playing the piano as there is too much distortion. But generally I'm very happy with them.”

“From GP referral ongoing has been a positive experience, no complaints whatsoever. Staff very professional and knowledgeable. I can call into my local store whenever I need to and always find happy helpful staff. Thank you Scrivens and staff.”

“our first visit to Scrivens Market Deeping for an eye test. My husband and I were made very welcome. All the staff very helpful and polite. If you live near Market Deeping parking very good. Highly recomend.”

“I was a bit apprehensive about having my hearing aids but the staff were very professional .They made me very comfortable about how to put them in and how to clean them. I would recommend them to anyone.”

“I recently joined Scrivens hearing aid centre at Rugeley. Louise and Stuart were absolutely outstanding in explaining everything. they frequently asked if I had any questions and were the most polite and helpful people. The products they gave me were exactly what I wanted. Well done”

“Well what a laugh I had fitting my contact lenses, all the ladies are brilliant, but Jeanette 'Naughty but Nice' . Personal joke lol. Very good opticians, my glasses and contact lenses where sorted out in no time, cant fault them at all. See you all soon.”

“I recieved a letter requesting me to phone to make an an hearing aftercare appointment, which was overdue. The due call was made and I was informed no appointments were available and I should phone again in a fortnights time. My second call was made after waiting the requested fortnight. I was then told no appointments were available , "Phone again in a fortnights time". I then asked if I could attend a different Scrivens establishment for my appointment. I was told this was possible and agreed to travel a reasonable distance. I then waited a while before being told no appointments were available and I should phone again in a fortnights time.......I gave up...........”
