“Very easy to book an appointment. Extremely friendly, professional staff, and a wide range of frames at reasonable prices. No pressure to purchase, but why go elsewhere when the service is so good here?”

“Excellent service, wide range of frames, all shapes, sizes and some very reasonable and attractive. Great shop in the village, long may it remain. Love the personal touch.”

“I live in Macclesfield but choose to go to Scrivens in Royton where I work. On my first visit they spotted an eye condition my previous opticians of 15 years failed to do. Staff are fantastic and bend over backwards to help. There are other cheaper opticians but as I have learnt you get what you pay for.”

“I took my elderly mother to the Fishponds branch in Bristol to have wax removed from both her ears. We met Michael who was incredibly professional, kind and patient with her. The whole process only took about 20 mins . The results were amazing. Thank you very much.”

“I was seen at Waterloo Rd Blackpool by a young lady called Assia who was very pleasant, quick and efficient. She did my hearing test, explained the ins and outs very well and sorted me out with some new improved NHS hearing aids in under an hour. She's definitely a keeper Scrivens, so hang on to her!”

“I went into the Stapleford, Nottingham branch and I feel I must say this. The treatment I received was second to none. The two young ladies, Jean and Daniela put me at ease. There professionalism is to be commended. It was not what they did but how they did it. I will definitely always be a scrivens customer from now on. Simple a pleasure going in there”

“I've recently moved to Bourne and was looking for a good opticians to get my eyes tested . I'm so pleased I chose Scrivens. All staff are very friendly and the service I have received so far has been excellent ! The lady helped me choose the right glasses that suit me. It's difficult when you are on your own and can't see without them , so her recommendation was spot on ! Thank you ! I also wished to try contact lenses and the time taken to try and get me the correct ones that suit me has been very impressive. Didn't feel rushed and care was taken to make sure that everything felt right. All options are tried & tested. Communication from the staff is also spot on with telephone calls & messages to confirm appointments etc ... I can't fault them and would recommend anyone to go for a good professional service.”

“Whilst on holiday abroad I developed a serious eye problem. Scrivens optician were able to arrange a test for me with less than 2 hours of landing. They supported me through the issue, wrote a referral to the hospital for me and I was having an operation the next working day. Scriven's were efficient, well organised, professional, supportive and compassionate. The optician even phoned a few days later to see how I was. I cannot rate the team highly enough. I recommend them without reservation. Absolutely amazing service. I am so grateful for the care I received.”

“Eldest son visited Market Deeping branch today (first time on his own) he had a few concerns regarding his eye sight for his chosen profession and for driving. Optician was very thorough and wished him well for his future. Came home very happy and reassured. Thank you. (12/07/24)”
