“Ordered some 228mmx38mm untreated boards to make a framework for a built-in wardrobe. Delivery of the boards was a bit slower than I thought when placing the order - the order confirmation said "We are dispatching most orders within 10-14 days", which was longer than I expected, albeit it did say to ring if required more urgently. The boards ultimately arrived 7 days after ordering. Most importantly, the boards were in decent condition for my project - not warped (my biggest concern) or unduly damaged and haven't needed too much sanding to make them suitable for painting etc. Glad I wasn't receiving a more delicate item from the courier (DX) though, as the friendly driver was throwing other packages around in his van to free up my boards which were at the bottom of his delivery load!”

“Prompt delivery, happy with installed raised beds. One pack of the shorter length boards was 1cm less in height than the longer boards. This gave an uneven level to the finished bed. If this had been the case with all the shorter boards it would have been very challenging to place one frame on top of the other for a double-height raised bed.”

“I purchased the 6 x4 raised bed pack. I am very happy with the quality of the product and the attention to detail with brackets and screws included. The only downside was the cost of P&P, but appreciate this is a bulky and heavy item - it was well packaged. A quality product and happy customer, would definitely use again if cost of P&P could in someway be reduced”

“Good strong raised beds, go together well my only criticism would be you don’t provide enough screws. I was sent 4 boxes of screws for the 16 raised beds I ordered, so far I’ve put 6 of them together and am into the 3rd box. Apart from that spot on.”

“Good service with delivery sooner than expected. For new boards however, could have been a bit cleaner. I know they’re only scaffold boards but these weren’t going to be used as scaffolding. Would still but from them again if the need arises.”

“Scaffolding Direct - ordered netting and a few odds and ends - good product and prices. There was an unexpected delay of about a week probably because someone had recommended the netting and the company in a Daily Telegraph article. Delivery process was good although slightly disconcerting because the courier advised that a delivery was coming from a computer company.”

“I have bought several raised bed kits. They are very solid and good timber. The first sets were very good, but the second sets were slightly adrift on edge dimensions so the parts did not line up perfectly, but nothing major. They were also less well planed, with many loose strands that needed to be removed. I find the delivery charges high, but the service and the delivery is efficienty.”
