“Delivered what I needed (though use had been held up by the freezing weather. The only thing that would make this a 5* review would be an email telling me when the order was dispatched and the name of the courier company. I did not recognise the shipping email from DX and deleted it because I thought it was a fraudulent message. I did appreciate your product description that said the wood was untreated. Some other suppliers do not make that clear. I may have further orders when I have completed a first, trial structure.”

“Very competitive pricing on the goods required and on the delivery charges. I also made a phone enquiry prior to order placement and this was answered speedily and helpful information given. What can I say except Congratulations!. Very rare these days to get the phone answered. Will use again if need arises.”

“Tarpaulin could do with better eyelets. Use the corner ones all along the edges would be much stronger and cost next to nothing to do.”

“The timber supplied (2.4m x 228mm x 38mm) was great - accurately cut, decent sawn surface, clean, and was great value compared with other sources, both local & online. Ordering and arranging delivery (plus a ‘hold’ on delivery that I requested) were easy. I thought the delivery charge was very high - though it was transported over 250 miles. The lack of a carrier with a HIAB meant the driver & I had to hand offload the 54 planks too! For those reasons I only give 4 stars.”

“No issues at all with the products bought and have gone up easily with secure fastenings. Not given 5 points as delivery company used absolutely dire and cancelled my planned and paid for delivery when I had taken leave from work to be in. Had argument on phone with them but they didn’t care. Promised help when delivery arrived but driver refused then asked me to supply scissors or knife so he could cut wrapping. Should be bringing his own stuff. He was lucky I just arrived home as he pulled up when order delivered next day but with an argument and complaint in order to get it next day. Driver told me he would have gone if I wasn’t there however he was happy to watch my wife struggle to help me otherwise I wouldn’t have managed. He didn’t say please, thank you kiss my …., and stood with an amazed expression on his face when he got the same disinterested treatment when he was leaving. He was looking for thanks for some reason. Letting delta services down very much. Am recording that the end of one piece of scaffolding got roughed up by driver banging it but I did tell him to start taking care as the ends had to go into fitments - he wasn’t impressed and appeared scruffy and with lazy attitude. Their office didn’t give a hoot either but when delivery is arranged and a job needs to begin it was very annoying particularly when they were awkward about when they could deliver which initially was about five days later. Would be worth delta looking elsewhere for a professional service.”

“Good product well made and fit for purpose. Value for money. One slight niggle, on one of the trestles the vertical tube on the lower section had been welded out of square to the main assembly. As a result the location pin would not pass all the way through the lower/ upper section due to hole misalignment. To fix the problem I enlarged the hole in the lower section by a couple of mm to eliminate the misalignment- far easier than having to return the product. A quick visual check would identify this fault n the future. Best regards.”

“Ordered some 228mmx38mm untreated boards to make a framework for a built-in wardrobe. Delivery of the boards was a bit slower than I thought when placing the order - the order confirmation said "We are dispatching most orders within 10-14 days", which was longer than I expected, albeit it did say to ring if required more urgently. The boards ultimately arrived 7 days after ordering. Most importantly, the boards were in decent condition for my project - not warped (my biggest concern) or unduly damaged and haven't needed too much sanding to make them suitable for painting etc. Glad I wasn't receiving a more delicate item from the courier (DX) though, as the friendly driver was throwing other packages around in his van to free up my boards which were at the bottom of his delivery load!”

“Prompt delivery, happy with installed raised beds. One pack of the shorter length boards was 1cm less in height than the longer boards. This gave an uneven level to the finished bed. If this had been the case with all the shorter boards it would have been very challenging to place one frame on top of the other for a double-height raised bed.”

“I purchased the 6 x4 raised bed pack. I am very happy with the quality of the product and the attention to detail with brackets and screws included. The only downside was the cost of P&P, but appreciate this is a bulky and heavy item - it was well packaged. A quality product and happy customer, would definitely use again if cost of P&P could in someway be reduced”
